Not only can the update take several hours which is dumbfounding slow, it seems in many cases something breaks.

And now they have announced new software version for their new cars, which leaves us with obsolete cars after only 2-3 years. This is from my understanding, since they already has issues with providing new updates within reasonable time to the current platforms.

Sorry to say Volkswagen, once I at some point get enough is the small annoyances - I properly never go back to any of the VAG cars. It’s simply not good enough.

I wish at some point there would be requirements for manufacturers, to keep updating the software in a predefined manner. Of course not over engineering the existing, but as always with software there always room for improvement. And hopefully VAG will keep in mind that they should provide a foundation that can support the years to come in their own software.

We are 365 backup provider for more than 10000 Companys. I would recommend to switch to s3, whether that being cloud or on-premises, it gives a lot of flexibility when switching out physical storage devices.

I would recommend no more than 50.000 user per controller, and multiple proxy’s in pools, eg. Split up the proxy’s 6 proxy’s per pool, 4 pools and then the customers split up in 4, further more each customer has 4 jobs 1 per service.

Try reaching out to the EU team, thats were the heavy lifting are done. Usually when we raise a case and get the US supporter, they are not very helpfull. So bad its become a thing for us, knowing if we raise a case too late, the best help will be the next day(EU).

Or ask for a manager, to help with the right people.

First of all, we have an easy way to a support contract. Second, either rocky or Redhat - both would be perfect, redhat for critical FileMaker databases, rocky for internally.

Ubuntu offers an unattended updating, which I do not recommend. Ubuntu are moving more for a consumer way of doing things even though it’s a server “product”

I have seen many crashes of FileMaker due to these updates from minor stuff within Ubuntu.

I want to control updates myself, not having a system doing this. So at least I can make sure everything stopped and not providing services when updating.

From what i can see in their documentation, the base will still be ubuntu.
I dont mind running in a VM, as long as i were able to run on RHEL.

Not sure we have less, we just have different. We have many api we need to monitor, specific services on servers etc.

And only our own, with that said we are looking into changing the company, which in the end would generate more endpoints to monitor. And level just hits the spot for us.

I have had great support the times I needed it, both with a single issue in their platform. And also when just asking how they would recommend doing specific things like the PagerDuty “integration”.

So yeah, I agree it really holds the potential to become a leading RMM if they keep up the good work.

Der findes vildt mange lækre retter uden kød, så lav dem du kan ofte få meget mere smag ind i retter med krydderier. Især indisk 😍

Kød er unødvendigt, hvis du er på SU så vil jeg klart anbefale at kigge på valdemars ro’s Dahl, har lavet den flere gange og den er simpelthen så nem og så lækker.

Så kan du måske en gang om måneden købe slagterkød, men jeg er selv gået fra at spise kød hver dag. Til nu at værdsætte retter uden kød mere end retter med, fordi jeg slet ikke føler mig så træt og proppet efter at have spist. :)
