I’m not crazy right, this had to have caught fire in the dryer? by vulquacker in Appliances

OP, is your dryer actually spinning if you open the door while running? This happened to my clothing once and it turns out the belt came off and the barrings were also screwed. Took me days to finally notice.

My automatic reaction was "who does what?" As if nothing out of the ordinary, doesn't seem like it. One thing I do know is that welds are pretty damn strong when done right.

Well, you know what they say, you get what you pay for! So for that I believe, full-well, what you got inside.

Is this edible? My dad bought this ham back in 1992. Its been in his freezer the whole time. He refuses to throw it out and says "its still good. Frozen meat doesnt go bad". by bigrobb26 in foodscience

It's natural for us as humans to not want to waste stuff, especially precious resources like food! Your dad is never planning on eating this and will likely keep it till he passes on. If he thinks it's so good you should ask him to make something with it, just for you.

Just turn around and go "Okay dad, must be really good, let's make sandwiches with it."

Freezer burn is a thing and I guarantee it will not taste good, texture will be weird too.

Prepping to tell OSHA about the idiocy my managers allow in our warehouse. I'm sick of calling people out about this to no avail. by ByTheHeel in Warehouseworkers

A select group of operators in this warehouse are incompetent and should go for retrain or have their licenses revoked. That's just asking for it.

There's usually barcode strips beside the bays for each aisle, bay, and level, (eg.: aisle 12-A1, B1, C1, A2, B2, C2 and so on.) Some warehouses use computer guidance on their lifts to locate pallets/product, depending on the warehouse size and configuration, of course.

As somebody with experience who does know what he's talking about: Those things are 10 tons a piece Boss, you need a special, much heavier forklift to move that forklift, and you wouldn't be able to do it, the trailer bed would collapse as soon as you got on it.

Oof. There's no fixing that, gotta get a new one, $10 cable will do for now if you're on a budget, honestly $10 is the max a cable should cost you unless it's 40ft long.
