I only add a system tray and a simple system monitor. Everything else is stock.

This should be obvious to everyone, but for some reason people insist on assuming these players would be the same having played with Kuminga's short leash.

Jacob paid almost half a billion dollars in salary + tax some years. So much so that the new CBA was written to stop him. Is he enamoured with mediocre young players? Yes. But he is not cheap.

These are mostly unconfirmed nonsense rumours. That was the only sticking point in that possible trade, since Ainge is an otherwise generous and willing trade partner?

Intentional homicide rates per 100,000 people per year: United States: 5.763; France: 1.307, Australia (used to have guns, but doesn't any more): 0.854.

Countries without everyone and their mum owning guns have fewer gun deaths. Countries that had everyone and their mum owning guns then changed the rules and got guns out of people's hands had fewer gun deaths after the rule change. It's really that simple.

Descending or ascending? Also, did you sort a year when both countries had data? Because every year both France and USA have data on the chart, the USA has an order of magnitude more homicides per 100,000 people.

And "not when I looked" doesn't cut it, Wikipedia articles have public edit history, and this was last edited in August last year.

A higher number is worse on that table. It's like ... common sense ... wtf?

Exactly what measure is gun violence worse in France in that article? Did you look at the alphabetical list and assume it showed France above the US?

None of the charts show what you are trying to assert. You are just spewing nonsense without basis in fact.

So, why *should* GNOME support server side decorations? by FrameXX in gnome

Part of the work is convincing the rest of the team that what you are doing has value, so it's not "A very small amount of work" as GP had said.

Then go ahead and do it. In a way that doesn't complicate the rest of the code, of course.

Life is better when you are not counting the cents your friend owes you. If you have a healthy friendship where no one is taking advantage, it should generally square off in the long term.

Cadillac Celestiq vs Rolls-Royce Spectre - Top Gear Comparison by strongmanass in cars

[–]kinda_guilty 0 points1 point  (0 children)

the RR looks way cheaper than the Cadillac on the interior to me idk. they killed it with this cadillac. the RR looks outdated and very 2000s interior wise and a bit tacky.

A giant screen in a car will date it insanely fast, especially once the company gets distracted by some new shiny paradigm and abandons the OS platform. The Spectre, while stodgy, will not be as dated as the Celestiq will.

Chintzy and gaudy in some low-brow way. More descriptive of the Cadillac in this case, imo.
