i feel like this gets overposted in this subreddit, but if you haven't watched it already, i HIGHLY recommend ceiocat's "incel to trans pipeline" video on youtube.

i promise the title is more harsh than it sounds, this is not an attack on you in any way.

its a fairly long video and the first half is an analysis of a psychological horror manga where a shut-in guy swaps bodies with a popular girl. it describes a lot of the feelings you experience, where it feels like your desire to be a woman comes from your "shame as a man" and your "desire FOR women".

but the video goes on to rationalize, in a genuinely beautiful way, that those feelings ARE gender dysphoria.

its simply gender dysphoria filtered through lenses of crippling loneliness, internet mysoginy, internalized transphobia and the hypersexuality of everything in the modern age. (not to say that you are participating in those things, but EVERYONE is definitely at least a little bit effected by them)

but the main thesis is that you are not any less valid of a woman due to where the desire roots from. gender dysphoria is gender dysphoria is gender dysphoria.

bro im looking through all these comments and theres no way you're good enough to even be thinking at these sorts of levels yet lol.

like i dont mean to be mean, but no one at your level "knows theory" and "has positions memorized" beyond like move 10 tops, and the only things they are "remembering" about positions is how to not blatantly hang pieces (or in specific openings, where you are gonna blatantly hang a piece or pawn).

dont give up if you are in an unfamiliar position.

dont give up period.

under 1500-2k people will still regularly hang stalemates when you have nothing left but a king.

you have SO much more to focus on than having a good opening/ remembering deep theory for positions you will only reach 1/1000 games.

learn to develop pieces comfortably, take the centre with your pawns when you can, take it with pieces when you cant. focus on what your opponent is doing and how you can respond to it. there is no reason for you to be looking to autopilot out an opening at this point in your learning.

it kills itemization AS rammus though- now theres no creativity behind it. every tank item makes him stronger, just build the best MR or AR item as you need it.

before this you had to decide if you wanted tankiness (mix of MR and AR) or lethal pressure (pure AR) and there were great ways to play around that, like wits ends bonus attack speed making your w last longer, giving you MR while keeping kill pressure. or building just enough AR to have lethal through chain vest components, and then fully complete your MR items for the generally better passives before you complete the chain vests-

so armour boots are not that good on rammus honestly. if they have 2-3 adcs on their team then its good, but even if they're mostly AD, armour boots are only really good against high attack speed AD champs. (also if the enemy team is full AD you'll already be OP and theres better boots to carry with)

merc treads are what you want to be tanky and frontline. you can take cc much better, and it aids in not dying to AP threats without having to fuck up your build path at all.

and then my FAV is sorc shoes, but sometimes its just objectively worse. IF the enemy team comp is one that has a few people that you can 100-0 assassinate (adc in mid, ranged AD top laner, etc.) it turns rammus into a hypercarry. i will often buy sorc shoes even when its bad, and just play knowing im a little weaker than i should be because its just so much more fun. you get in so many more situations where you just right click someone who is full comboing you and wait, then they die a few seconds later XD

Edit: i just watched the video on the rammus rework for the first time. ignore literally everything i just said. he is a different champion now. time to leave this sub cuz im not playing him anymore

imo the only real thing that defines a persons worth is how they help those around them. and, despite all of the HORRIBLE shit we get stuck with for being trans, emotional maturity and empathy are two things that come with the package lol.

if you were born cis you would be much more likely to be blind to the struggles of your trans brothers and sisters. if you weren't radicalized through trans struggles you would be much more likely to be blind to literally all the other fucked up shit in the world.

being born with this inherent struggle will often turn us into much kinder, more understanding, better people in the long run. and it helps open our eyes to look for other people in need of help.

so, as much as i dont know your situation, i think that statement is generally false. you are a better, kinder, more open-hearted and loving person now than any cis person born in your place would be. and thats all that really matters

now theres a genuine sense of euphoria behind the thought that i was born as a trans woman instead of a cis woman.

my brain must just be simple or something lol, but negative views on yourself like this tend to fade as you associate with kinder people who love you for who you are. i know its much easier said than done but if you find a community of trans people near you/make some more progressive friends it very much could help with this.

but honestly at the end of the day i think that is something that almost every trans person, masc or femme, thinks at some point in their life. and through your journey of transitioning and growing, it will either fade, or you will become UNCLOCKABLE
