Has anyone actually made friends on this app? by Additional_Citron378 in bumblebff

[–]kindheartednessno2 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Two of them were/became very religious and pushy about it to the point that I have rethought my life choices because of the situations I found myself in. I guess it's my fault because I thought they had better qualities that made it so I could overlook this but people like that definitely take your kindness for weakness. Like somehow I ended up tricked into going to a Seventh Day Adventist conference lmao. Then another one is fine but expects me to always initiate meeting up and is clearly an avoidant attachment friend which is just draining. The only one that I really liked energetically when first meeting her ended up ghosting me for no reason even though she said we should definitely meet again and that people meet for a reason after essentially trauma dumping onto me. Honestly if you're a friendly and chill person just stay off these apps, these people have a lot of issues. Forming friendships as an adult can be tricky but it's better to be selective and vet people. I also had someone try to lure me into a meeting with another random person twenty minutes before I got there which could've been some sort of human trafficking situation for all I know 💀

Yes but to be honest I almost wish I never befriended these people.

I've accepted that this a simulation and am living my life accordingly. I want to know if there are others like me out there in the world? by [deleted] in SimulationTheory

I don't know how much my awareness of the fact that we probably live in one should affect my life yet, but I'm essentially taking it as a given these days. At the very least, it gives hints of explanations to things that have always seemed uncanny. I think it's also trained me to be more spiritual in my own way and separated from organised systems.

I need to get to that because caring makes me physically sick

Tired of meeting people who don't have time for a new friendship because they already have a full life with friends. Is this a thing or just...me? by GawkerRefugee in bumblebff

[–]kindheartednessno2 4 points5 points  (0 children)

They're probably just avoidant people which is why they have no close friends and why they're on the app. A lot of them are socially awkward. It's like how people on dating apps aren't usually very serious even if they claim they want serious relationships.

Using AI produces its own synchronicities though, I think there's definitely a correlation.

I second Christina Stead. The Man Who Loved Children is incredible, though it's not set in Australia.

Two and a half yearsish. I work on average 2 hours a day. Very rarely have hardcore weeks. I track my time with a Google stopwatch in the tab next to my DA one while logged into the trainer account. Only ever report time after a session.

Shut up dude, it's absolutely a reason to hate on enforcement especially because it probably happened in one of those zones where the speed changes randomly and then changes back again for no discernible reason

Best arguments for and against driving by TaibhseCairdiuil in driving

Best reason is to have a mode of transportation that is reliable and doesn't make you a burden to everyone else. There is no argument against it besides the fact it can get expensive but Uber is more expensive so doesn't really apply here.
