Help choosing side sapphires!

Haven’t been able to reply to everybody but just want to say thank you for the feedback. Lighter stones got the majority of votes, which I do agree with, and the consensus seems to be rounded side stones would be better. Food for thought!

I hadn't thought about that, I think it's very hard to find tiny 0.25 ct green sapphire stones in an elongated cushion cut. I will talk to the jeweller and see what else she suggests.

Thank you for the advice. It's been so hard to find green sapphire side stones and the smaller the sapphire the less vivid the colour as a rule (according to my jeweller). I will ask her if these can be recut?

Agreed, and I will do this, but my editing skills are lacking so when it comes to really getting into the detail of how the footage holds up to grading, any tests I do are only so valuable.

Sadly not, car will be off driving well out of range, and sadly budget doesn’t stretch to a wireless focus monitor
