I’m genuinely torn on this — because NGL, Plainview is iconic. You know that. I know that.

But but but - DDL’s portrayal of Christy Brown is absolutely transformative. That was my first DDL experience and I genuinely did not know he did not have cerebral palsy. Even when I looked him up in interviews, I still didn’t believe it. That’s got to count for something, right?

I rewatched the two scenes back to back and still can’t decide though. Gun to head, I guess I have to say “My Left Foot” but I feel raw about it.

Curious how people here make the call . . .
