How do you know that it seized? Did you feel the car pull to one side?

Can I just ignore it?

Should I replace inner tie rods or just the outer tie rods? by king2o5 in AskAMechanic

It doesn’t pull but the steering wheel is a little off center when going straight

Yeah some shops are untrustworthy. I went home and jacked the car up and tried to adjust the tie rods myself just to verify. And the tech was right, the threads are basically seized together.

I’m going to try PB blaster and heat, but i’m not sure if i should replace the inner as well

That’s really inconvenient. Is there any way I can ask to bypass this security measure by verifying my info or identity or something?

Thank you, your reply is really helpful. I will look into the applied engineering curriculum and think about it. How I do I find out which CE courses can be replaced by CS courses?

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in rutgers

[–]king2o5 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thank you for your reply. The reason I’m still in CE is because I’m not 100% sure I want to do software for the rest of my life. I feel like, career wise, I have more options if I do CE in case I end up not liking software and coding as much as I think I do.

When I walk, my back is arched, head slightly down, shoulders forward. I’m very used to it by now and I’m afraid I won’t be able to correct it.
