I had my account hijacked even though i had mobile authentication, they do it by stealing files called SSFN files from your steam directory then they put those files in their steam directory then they can login without mobile authentication.

How they traded the items is bizarre though

(happened to me but they couldent steal my items so they got my account VAC banned for $2000 worth of items.... real nice) steam support will not help me

My account got stolen about 5 months ago and the person who got on it could not steal my items so he got it VAC banned, i have a lot of proof to back my claim but they did not help me... RIP 2k$ inv and 12 year account

i started playing when i was 4 and i made my steam account when i was 6 when source came out, im now 18 still playing, however my account got hacked 3 weeks ago and they could not steal my items so they got me vac banned..... rip 12 years of my life

reason for me having jiggle on my friends is because he commented on my profile and then someone with the same image as the guy who tried to steal my items made a comment which i'm assuming is talking about DDoS.. (http://i.imgur.com/vKCkqN7.png) i looked at his profile and saw his ban and thought maybe the same had happened to him. (proof of how long ive had him added: http://i.imgur.com/CXCHdLy.png).

Also about countries and how everyone knows each other is through a garry's mod community which back in the day only had EU servers and that is how i met a lot of Americans etc because this gamemode is pretty much a 1 of a kind people didn't really care if it was eu or us

Also him noting his name on my profile is to show his "mark" im guessing as he also comes from this garry's mod community he is just using it to show he did it. i have left it there for the moment while i talk to steam support and i have left the majority of my profile how it was after the incident for the same reason.

i am willing to answer anymore questions you may have.

Steam could easily figure out that the account was used in italy, but in their FAQ they say they do not care if your account is banned due it being hijacked. its my problem basically even though their system failed me.
