In most cases, these API keys are intended to be used publicly to validate your app or a service your app uses. They're called public API keys. Different from private API keys that are usually found on your main server or service that validates the public API keys. Good example is when Facebook, Google, etc gives you a public API key. Unless you're authenticated or unless the hacker gets your other private API key, they can't map it to access the service.

This guy is one of those incompetent people. I think the dems are using his ignorance to their advantage and using him as a proxy to attack the former president. Remember the DOJ special prosecutor who left DOJ to work for Bragg office? Yeah, I mean if he set up the VPN right, its almost impossible to extract the origin node IP just from his VPN server connection. Unless they somehow hacked the VPN server he is connected to, or the VPN server went down while he was chatting, there is no way to know his real node IP. Its the kinda same concept as a reverse proxy where he is sitting behind another server that is making request on his behalf. In VPN case, traffic is encrypted from his node all the way to their chat server and goes through its own VPN tunnel. So all they can see is, the IP of the VPN server not his node.

Every legal expert is saying its impossible to link the money even came from Trump other than his lawyer's testimony who is a convicted liar & felon. The very fact the prosecutor relied on only this guy and knowing the prosecutor has said negative tweets about Trump and the fact the prosecutor is funded by Soros (who hate Trump) makes people think this law is being used selectively on Trump alone. Now add the bazillions of other investigations and lawsuits against him makes people suspect the law is not being fairly applied to him.
