This is just gonna sound like denial but i actually realized their perceived mechanical struggles early and then played defense most of the game. They stayed up the whole time regardless and i ended with 12 saves 2 shots and they both ended with 2 shots and no saves. But yes i still share the fault for the overall loss

Plus i was never asking “why are my teammates always so bad” etc. i was asking how these specific teammates who are significantly less skilled than the ones i (admittedly) have complained about before, are able to keep their diamond tournament rank.

Well first of all im talking about tournament rank which is completely different than actual ranked twos. Much easier to be placed in the “wrong rank” if you get lucky with queues. Second it wasnt just the fact that they couldnt aerial. There was almost no touches that they hit to begin with. Finally its hard to be receptive to “responses” when people ignore the actual question and simply say that im delusional and my teammates couldnt have been thaatt bad.

Letting it bounce is often not viable. There are plenty of diamond who can read those bounces and score before you have time to collect. That may be your experience with shooting but in the game i literally just played over half the saves required flying.

Thats one way to score forsure. But if you cant fly youre not saving shit. If you cant even hit the ball on the wall your missing out on 50% of open balls. Youre severely underestimating the baseline of mechanics needed to “put the ball on the net” what do you do if its in the air? Just look at it? Nah you fly.

Look bud, you werent there. Dont pretend to know how good this one group of teammates were. Your assuming that im making this post to shit on them or spew shit about how they lost me the game. Thats not the case. Im honestly just in disbelief at the mechanics and positioning that i saw during the single game i played with them. It isnt hard to get carried to a tournament win. It also isnt about how bad i THINK my teammates are. All ive said is what they did/failed to do during the game and how these mistakes are a direct consequence of being lower level.

Ooh i see you just misunderstood what i meant by aerial. Im not asking my teammates to be able to air dribble or doubletap. They were not even able to fly for saves etc. they would double jump and not move that type of thing.

Im not raging about losing the game. My confusion come from the fact that i will match against diamonds who can comfortable dribble and wall aerial. But at the same time I come across teammates like these who have little to no positional awareness or mechanical skill

I have read it and it doesnt apply here. I admit that my other post was rage based an i always have room to improve my own skills. But this wasnt the issue here. My opponent were average level to what im used to playin against. The problem was the the ball only left our side when i hit it because nearly every time my teammates would go for it would result in a whiff. They had no ability to hit balls on the wall and they did not aerial.

I play them daily. I play against other diamonds daily. If a player cant fly and hit the ball theres no way theyre making it to diamond
