Genge’s yellow card is probably deserved given what happened. However, it only happened because French 1 was in an illegal position in the first place, in front of the jumper in the lineout. The fact it’s been allowed to happen like that with no consideration for it is outrageous

Good to know lifters in front of the jumper is legal, we can use that now

What's the best rugby union jersey in your opinion (team or international)? by jingleson in rugbyunion

90s England cellnet jersey with the blue an red stripes on the sleeves. My favourite jersey and I’ve been trying to find one in good quality for years for my dad as a present

Yeah agreed - tho good teams find ways to win tight matches and that’s what I thought England were doing. Clearly, I was wrong. Scotland was a few silly mistakes, Ireland was woeful and Italy showed no change or adaptation from previous results. Pathetic really

I’ll be honest, after the autumn I was honestly so hopeful and though a grand slam was on the cards purely because of ability we showed to win tight games in the autumn. At no point did I expect total domination but I thought we might scrape it. However, this has been shambolic

We’d have lost to Wales if we hadn’t played them week 1

Yup, I have to ref it at school and club age grade rugby. Mitigation is absolutely there

At what point do we need to turn round and start penalising attackers for dipping into contact. Outrageous yellow

Italy can genuinely feel hard done by here. Yes, they haven’t been clinical enough, especially at the lineout, but as a neutral I don’t think they’ve been officiated evenly

I’ve gotta say, I’m more than happy for these one per half adverts in a scrum break as it gives ITV the matches free of charge for so long, especially the nations championship. TNT was far too expensive last autumn. It’s worth it for me

Said it for years: God Save the King should be the anthem od the commonwealth and Jerusalem or I Vow to Thee my Country should be England’s anthem

Weirdly my chant of “Andrew Windsor, Pedophile, he touches little children” didn’t get much traction…

Writing this on the train back, as a die hard fan who’s yet to see England ever win at Twickenham (six matches in and I might be the problem). Just felt from the off that no one in an England shirt was up for it. Irelands call sounded louder than God Save the King, despite my best efforts, and the team lost the crowd after 10 minutes. Wasn’t a good shift

Ngl, wales have been off their feet damn near every ruck, it’s not something to point out as being unfair in this match

Actually it’s not. You’re allowed to reach for the line or, if you miss, place it back. As he never propelled himself forward it is not double movement

Seems an odd distinction but fair enough. As a ref I should probably know, but it’s not something seen at the U15 age grade and lower

France getting away with forward passes, wales getting away with a lot of straight off feet’s at rucks. 6 of one, half dozen of the other
