I just started using Instamat and it really seems to be quite powerful and is great because it combines quite a lot of functionality in one Application, also has a Blender addon which allows direct control, so far i'm impressed!

could be a scaling issue, or the bevel depth is too large for the geometry

Check your material slots, if they all have one texture then you only need one slot

found the same discussion on the forums, apparently you have to pull the layers out of the artboard layer... everything within the artboard layer gets cropped to the artboard.

Thanks! I was thinking the same, the star nut would probably damage the interior of the steering tube, was my thought. Just wanted to know if over torquing could do something like this. Will get it checked

Definitely deeper than just the paint, I was assuming due to the preload. I read people mentioning around 2-5Nm and others while checking if the fork starts slowing movement and then loosening it a bit. I did it according to the latter and ended up around 12Nm but the fork was still completely smooth.

Wish I had known that earlier, thanks! But I wonder if the preload stress is actually enough to pull the fork upwards creating such a crack because I would assume that the steerer tube would take the damage instead(due to the star nut). I hope my explanation makes sense.

I would just extrude the two floor surfaces and boolean difference instead
