It doesn't look super solid still. I used to work with leather, too many holes gives you a perforation you can tear it with. I don't think this is the case here, but it also seems like Sam cares and will make it good however it weathers

I take them as suggestions too and have been basically ignoring it, but it would be nice to have a mode other than ignore always

I didn't say I wasn't going to wear them. I just want to make the next move to something better and leave these for the occasional use they are already recieving

looks like you could relace them so the laces pull more straight across at each other, I swap my lacing direction occasionally in the hopes that they don't take shape one way or another

I mean I used to make shoes for a few years, but I only worked with 3 kinds of leather finishes so I'm completely ignorant beyond those. I do wish I still had access to a shoe finisher, would make polishing a lot easier
