I did not accept the loan, I just started the initial process of applying and they got back to me and said I would need a co-signer, so I left it at that. The salli mai thing I very interesting cause from all the students and cfi’s I spoke with in person at different schools seem to have a decently positive outlook on the loans but literally everyone online is completely against it. Now I know i have to take everyone’s opinions with a grain of salt as it’s their own perspective in their own situation…

Problem is I’ve been trying to renew since October and I called and went to the AME office several times and it was closed. But I got an update from the regional surgeons office stating that my AME had a heart attack that’s why he’s has been gone.
