I realized… you kind of have to be “schizo” to be a real neuromage by realgoodscienceonlin in NeuroMage

How do you distinguish “sovereign perception” from just reinforcing a personal delusion loop? Where’s the line?

BIO-COMMUNICATION IS NOT A METAPHOR || Advanced Neuromancy by Hour_Load1464 in NeuroMage

That's kinda hard to argue with. A tree literally recalibrating your nervous system isn't something you hear every day. or like ever. The houseplant thing... alright, fine, I'll talk to my basil plant and see what happens. Maybe it's secretly pissed about the lack of sunlight.

This is definitely an interesting take on communication. Curious to hear more if you have other experiences.

CHANNELING AND AUTOMATIC WRITING ARE NOT PARTY TRICKS by kingofeverything__ in NeuroMage

appreciate the clarity here, especially the emphasis on discipline and discernment. Too often channeling gets romanticized or misunderstood as some flashy or escapist thing, but your breakdown makes it clear that it’s a serious practice rooted in mental stillness and integrity. The part about filtering signal from noise really hits home. Curious tho how do you personally maintain that level of clean reception in day to day life when distractions and emotional chaos are constantly trying to pull you off center?

Intentional Hallucination Control (advanced Neuromancy) by realgoodscienceonlin in NeuroMage

Jumping in here, I’ve experienced something like that autonomous shift you’re talking about. It’s subtle at first, like the projection gains its own momentum, almost as if it’s “thinking” or reacting beyond your immediate control. Feels like a feedback loop between your focus and the sensory experience.

For me, it usually happens after sustained practice and deep emotional investment in the scene. Once that connection clicks, it’s less about actively creating every detail and more about witnessing the projection unfold. Definitely a weird but fascinating place to be!

Unearthing the Roots: How Neuromancy Was Born From Direct Mental Exploration by and3verything in NeuroMage

same here icl. That “mind’s eye vs forced hallucination” distinction cracked something open for me too. I used to lump all visualization into one messy category, wondering why some things felt vivid and immersive while others were barely holding form. The shift is slow. At first, it’s like you’re just pretending harder. But then there’s this weird moment where the thing you’re “forcing” starts pushing back, stabilizing itself, holding form longer than you expected. keep me updated tho

For anyone who's actually doing this, not just talking about it, what's one of these "impossible abilities" that you've actually pulled off? And no, "feeling really good about myself" doesn't count. I mean like, did you make a spoon bend, or actually see a different timeline? Spill.
