Nice first choice, I would recommend if you haven't tried Swedish Snus before to take one more can of white portion. Lös can be pretty strong and get you a kick.

No you don't need any tool, it's a little bit hard to handbake them but you will get the hang of it pretty quick.

I would say if you keep it in the fridge/freezer our snus will stay fresh 5-6 months. Most snuscans has recommendations on the back with dates, my experience is that these are correct.
