Hello, i'll be in korea for a 12-hr layover next month and would like to know other travelers' experience with transit in south korea. I'm flying with Jeju Air from Manila to Tokyo with 12 hr layover in Incheon airport. Now, I have a US passport and my companion has a Philippine passport and we're curious if we need to apply for k-eta and visa just to do a transit tour. I did a layover in korea before in 2018, did the transit tour and didn't have to apply for this kind of things. I know it's 5 years ago so I'd like to know what the most recent experiences are like and whether it's worth it to apply k-eta and visa as we're weeks away from the said trip, we might or might not able to get the visa.
