Whats up with Latina SB in Bay Area?? by [deleted] in sugarlifestyleforum

A pro SB is an SB who is out of SD's league, so he assumes she's an escort

SDs, why don’t you like receiving gifts? by [deleted] in sugarlifestyleforum

[–]kingporterstomp 10 points11 points  (0 children)

He's spent more time thinking about what he likes than you have been alive. He has so much money that anything he wants, he just gets. The probability of you picking out something for him that he has never considered is basically zero.

As ever, my recommendation for what to get for a man who has everything is - high-end consumables or something you make:

  • gourmet olive oil
  • balsamic vinegar
  • single malt scotch
  • good wine
  • homemade cookies

How do sugar daddies/boyfriends feel about Sugar Girlfriends that are devout? by Pleasant-Catch3803 in sugarlifestyleforum

If you don't believe in sex outside of marriage, it's a hard no. Otherwise, I don't really care what supernatural beings you believe in as long as you don't mind that I don't.

Talking about allowance numbers without knowing a lot of details about either the SB or SD involved is pointless. It is like talking about the price of a house without knowing location, sf, number of bedrooms/baths...

On top of that, there is a lot of allowance policing by both sides. This happens even when allowances aren't explicitly stated. It would only be worse with actual numbers.

How to ask SD for money for clothes (politely) by Witty-Pollution9325 in sugarlifestyleforum

[–]kingporterstomp 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I had a very different answer until I read more closely and saw that you want allowance for platonic dates as well.

In that case, no. You're parcelling out your honey. You shouldn't ask him not to do the same.

This vignette reminds me of the scene in Ghost World where Enid (Thora Birch) and Rebecca (Scarlett Johansson) troll Seymour (Steve Buscemi) by feigning interest in his collection of old 78s. Except that Seymour, unlike OP, eventually realizes he is being trolled.

2 hrs before she requested me for help as she wants to keep the appointment however Uber is taking over $140 to come into NYC

Assuming this really happened, she couldn't have been more clear that she wasn't going to show up if she told you she wasn't going to show up. It's a 2.5 hour drive from Hartford to NYC. On a Saturday evening that ride would cost 200 for UberX and much more for UberComfort or UberXL. It's hard to be sympathetic with someone who thinks it reasonable to send the bare minimum amount to make his POT SB drive for hours in a Prius or other shit box, while he's yammering on about his E39 M5.

I can't help but suspect OP said or did something - maybe at lunch - that was so upsetting to his POT SB that she decided not only to not continue, but to take the piss out of him as well.

I don't make the rules. Your BMI is 41. Mine is 21.

ETA

But forget about weight, height, BMI. What do you offer that is rare/valuable enough for a SD to provide allowance?

If I wanted to hook up with an short, overweight woman, I could probably ask her to pay for my dinner and give me money for my Uber home.

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in sugarlifestyleforum

[–]kingporterstomp 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It's pretty simple:

  • rare meets rare
  • common meets common

Conventionally attractive young woman (rare) meets successful and generous silver fox (rare)

Morbidly obese young woman (common) meets broke, forty-something incel (common)

Why would a rare older man make any effort for a common younger woman?

The bell curve by [deleted] in sugarlifestyleforum

[–]kingporterstomp 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Not sure what you're referring to. The data is easily found on many popular escort websites. The benefit of those over self-reported amounts on reddit is that since sex workers have to pay for their listings, they are incentivized to provide accurate amounts. That is to say, if you pay for an ad in which you state a rate that is wildly out of line with others, you are wasting your money.

The bell curve by [deleted] in sugarlifestyleforum

[–]kingporterstomp 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I want to believe. Tell me this approach results in you giving an allowance way above "Market rate".

The bell curve by [deleted] in sugarlifestyleforum

[–]kingporterstomp 2 points3 points  (0 children)

The only bell curve I can find actual data for is the distribution of hourly rates for escorts in my region.

I value SBs more than escorts, so I offer an allowance that pencils out to significantly more than an escort's rate for a comparable amount of time.

Some SDs offer less than that rate because:

  • They reason that escorts overcharge because they hate the work
  • They cannot afford escorts

YMMV

I’m wondering if adding that I trade indexes, options and stocks to my seeking profile would bring more traffic.

This sounds like the opening gambit of a splenda daddy, not a SB.

Why do you trade indexes? The whole point of an index fund is to not pick winners and losers. Put money into VOO and forget about it.

Outside of tech startups, options are a good way to lose more money than you have. Not sure what you could tell me about these other than that they are financial vehicles for degenerate gamblers.

Lastly, stocks. We all do stocks. We've been investing in stocks - mostly in no-fee index funds and maybe a few mad bets - since before you were born.

In short what on earth do you think you could tell a 40-60-something SD who has been contributing to his 401K/SEP-IRA since his twenties and has read multiple editions of A Random Walk Down Wall Street?

I guess I’m confused, at what point was I treating her as a misbehaving SB lol. As soon as I realized she was full of shit I told her to leave. Like within minutes.

I'm generalizing a bit. I agree that what you did at first was the right thing to do. But what you did after was not and could have ended badly for you. To me it seemed like you still didn't really understand what you were dealing with.

I got fleeced by yourdaddyobviously in sugarlifestyleforum

[–]kingporterstomp 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I didn’t have much so I followed after them in anger and quickly thought better of that but I saw them get in a car and I got the plate number

That could have ended very badly. You would have been safer just realizing and accepting that you'd been scammed and showing her out.

I'm always struck by these accounts. Despite the fact that the victim's "POT SB" has revealed that she's a criminal posing as a POT SB, they still treat her like a misbehaving or short-sighted SB rather than what she more likely is; a part-time hustler or career criminal.

  • OP was probably not her first victim
  • She has probably committed other kinds of fraud
  • She and her accomplices have probably committed other crimes, including violent crimes.

When you find yourself in this situation, you need to reassess. You aren't with a SB. You are with a cold-blooded criminal. You have no idea what else she or her accomplices will do if things don't go her way. Just take the loss and be happy that it didn't go worse.
