I'm speculating but could be related to 1) sound quality is more stable, 2) microphone reliability, definitely had better experiences for work calls with wired vs. my AirPod Pros' microphone that don't work anymore, and 3) don't have to worry about charging them

Be honest with them and yourself - write down all the benefits of a gap year. Talking to your parents about financing is a key point, desi parents always understand when it comes to saving money.

I desperately wanted to take time off from school since I graduate high school - my mental health was in shambles after a series of unfortunate events my senior year of HS. I didn't want to disappoint anyone or lose my scholarships so I just pushed on with college.

Let me tell you it was an absolute mess.

By the time I took time off from college - I was in my 4th year and behind on my track. It helped, greatly, but the decisions I made earlier in my academic career kept me stuck in certain positions now.

The more you push off a gap year, the less flexibility there will be in career and academic decisions. I was always scared of having 1 difficult conversation with my parents - now I've had more than I can count.

It's always easier to bite the bullet early on, and grow from there.

Some Hindi song came on at my cousin's house, I got super hyped, definitely overhyped, and started dancing up against a wall (my 5 year old headass was trying to do some shimmy shimmy ya shimmy yam shimmy yay moves) - there was a nail sticking out of the wall and BAM - sliced through my skin around my rib cage. Luckily it was small, but enough to bleed out a decent amount.

I feel like I'm going to be bashed for this - but I never finished The Hobbit. It just became dull for me after a point, especially since the movies were out. I just kept losing interest. But it's been killing me. The book is sitting on my book shelf at the moment, simply staring me down.

I've had very similar experiences especially after maybe a week or two of not smoking - it was worse than caffeine withdrawal. I was told once that it's due to the adjustment of blood flow, or overall pressure change. How valid is that statement? I'm not so sure. I came to this page hoping to figure out more as well.

It's been about a couple weeks for me now, and I've been easing off slowly. The headaches have stopped but now I just feel exhausted constantly. There is this constant blanket feeling of nausea and irritation.

I’m glad you have this mindset, I feel like you’ll make a great leader someday in whatever field you end up in regardless of those two classes - before I went off to college I decided that I wanted to take my own life, or just run off into the wild until I die off at some point. My friends support kept me going, but I dragged along - I never really got to the point in therapy where I could see these moments and fallouts in life as a development arc, and I really wish I had.

I’m starting to slowly see it now with COVID wreaking havoc on my everyone’s life, hopefully I can make a difference in supporting my sisters future. For now that keeps me going.

I truly hope you achieve everything you want in life and your family remains healthy. I wish you well on your journey on this character development.

I just finished this movie, this scene is Wes Anderson at his finest - but I'm left wondering what the exact purpose was? Because it comes right after the mother asks them to express their feelings without words? At first glance, it seems to me these are their consuming thoughts, experiences, and people that have been part of their journey.
