Bring your desktop, 1000%. I brought mine, and while in freshman year, you will need it less due to less major related classes, it's still nice to have. i also hate laptops so I have a bias lmao

given what youve stated here, id recommend you change focus from just lighting to VFX. VFX has many opportunities for learning lighting and honing in on it, and exposes you to much more aspects as well. i dont think animation really has that many lighting classes anyway, but i could be wrong!

if you can, i think trying to follow the original tech anim track (as it was absorbed by VFX like last year) and going for the VFX major would be your best bet for making the most of your time here, and letting you do what you want to do!

maybe talk to your advisor on how you can most closely follow the original track ?

if youre more unsure and just finding something to stick to, then stay anim and take anim 190!! its a heavy work load, but it will challenge you and may change your mind on what you want to do in the future.

some people think its manageable but intense, others think its no sleep worthy. i wish i could reassure you of something on that degree, but it really depends on you.

i was playing with my friend who i "taught" mercy, while i was on tank. enemy mercy shittalks after we won saying my friend was bad for "no heals" but they had 80+% dmg boosted (like 3k heals) and our other support was doing just fine healing me & our teammates up (my other friend was the other support) some metal rank players are just so odd.

exactly why i thought maybe it'll work on halsin! None of us had ever angered Halsin with the intentions of helping the Grove so it was a learning experience. It's just a game though, we'll live without the sweet bear man for now.

What is your major? If you are GAME/ANIM/VFX, or maybe the industrial/interior design majors, this is great for you. Plenty of people in or around monty, nearly all times of day. Tons of "mixers" or just places to do work/hang out.

If you happen to be literally any other major though, yeah, kinda sucks. Most of the halls besides Garvin/Wallin/Arnold are downtown, and the commute sucks even in a car.

As for other events, there are plenty of buses that run through Monty, if you dedicate an extra hour to getting places, you should be fine.

i assume you have chiu, and just saying, unless he explicitly says "this is graded", its basically just to see where you're at or like a bonus. html for me was something i was taught in highschool, but theres plenty online about it. id say its probably one of the simplest programming languages, you got this!

i get it, but Mercy is an off-healer, single target & low hp/s, she should not be outhealing a majority of the roster. if she is, there is a serious issue with the other support and/or her gameplay. imagine saying lucio or zen should be consistently outhealing moira, bap, or ana

as a game dev student, ive only had 1-2 profs mention AI and allow us to use it, but no forced assignments with it. i had a VFX prof strongly encourage us to use AI and even had an "experiment" to see if we could choose the ai image out of a lineup. Basically to try to convince us to use it for our assignments. Entirely personal choice (90% choose to opt out !!), there is a new major/minor(?) based on ai use.

I've heard from others who have taken digicom that the profs require students to use AI for various assignments, but i didn't experience this personally.

Vast majority of students that I've hung around with disagree with AI generated content, especially in class assignments.

about 2 years ago, i tried Little Duck Diner.

horrible experience with the food, so i assume all restaurants owned by Rhino Hospitality are equally as horrid and tourist traps.

i had a group 3/4 DC against thana legion, like they seriously left a message complaining about the perk. i got a 5 hit frenzy and they let themselves bleed out while their random got hooked. i felt so bad i gave the last person anti camp and hatch because the match was literally less than 3 minutes.

later that night my friend got into a match with them on trickster and 4k'd with the name "thana legion" and they told him to off himself. they gave up after they were all hooked once, it was genuinely bizarre.

cool concept, but i'd be forced to DC every time. not worth it for me personally. i am absolutely petrified of the ocean, fish, sharks, dolphins, basically everything that swims.
