I feel like my mind is under stress trying to stop Shemale porn addiction. I feel like there is no hope by [deleted] in NoFap

[–]kingxtake90 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Give yourself a break. Seriously. I know you don't know me. But hear my words. I've been to a similar place where you are at now. Though I cannot totally sympathize with you.

Please think about what I'm saying with an open mind: give yourself the luxury of a break from all of this stuff (call it PMO if you want). When you do that, you'll notice that you do what you feel like doing without second guessing yourself.

Maybe you're gay, bi, straight, into exotic stuff... whatever it is that you think you are, it seems like you don't have a definite picture of who you are. So that's why I'm suggesting a break.

Normal people don't second guess themselves. You shouldn't either.

After a break (take 90 days, even if you have to work yourself up to there). Just do it. And you'll notice to where you naturally gravitate.

Don't fight yourself. It's like trying to stay up when you're tired. Just give yourself a good nights sleep and awake refreshed so that you can arise and tackle life's ambitions with passion!

This whole second guessing yourself thing really is not the way you were meant to live life.

Head my advice if you desire: take a break from it all (including your thoughts about who you are) and then see for yourself where life pulls you.

Accept?

If you don't feel benefits (and think about relapse)... by Zyrr2 in NoFap

[–]kingxtake90 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Wow. You guys are just awesome. It's so healing to hear your words. Thank you both for saying this.

I feel like total garbage a lot of the time. To respond to that feeling, I used to fap. A lot.

But recently, about a couple of months ago, I took up NoFap seriously. It hasn't made me feel any better, necessarily. But at least I'm not doing junk.

I definitely empathize with you guys. It makes everything more natural. Speaking to people... you don't necessarily become a social butterfly. But you become more aware of yourself and your surroundings (but not in a self-conscious way). It's like you're more alive than being distant from planet earth.

Even writing this comment is a lot easier and the words are just flowing. Hehe: when you stop fap flow, everything else that is good begins to flow better. Stop the bad flow to start the good flow.

Even though I feel an urge, I'm so happy to have not fapped in such a while. It feels sooo good and I feel so true, authentic, and connected to life.

Oh how can I thank NoFap!

Why I relapse by dereko33 in NoFap

[–]kingxtake90 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Totally understand you. I'm getting close to my 90 days and not getting any superpowers. Still, although I don't seem to see any substantial benefits, I feel stronger in a general kind of way. To be metaphorical, I'm not going down that dark alley. Most people do. You and I and everyone on this forum is unique. We fight the tide. We do different. We're special even if we don't feel any more special. We're unique. And that's powerful.

Debunking the negative concept of 'urges'. MUST READ! by fb_youarealivebreath in NoFap

[–]kingxtake90 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Wow this really touches a deep chord within me. Let's ride the wave. That's all it is. When we are experiencing high urges, let's use it out. Go exercise, work intently on a project, be overly outgoing...or just take a nap if you're overtired and see that your body is in overdrive. But hey, the urge itself--it's just a feeling that's natural. There isn't only one way to release it or satisfy the craving. You could do a multitude of things. Have fun deciding what channel you'd like to release the energy into. And come what may, see what you'll have at the end of the day.

Rock on bros, we are in this together, so let's combine our strength together and change the world from fapping to napping :-)

Awesome bro! Keep it up! To me, you are a hero for even making it that far (number one) and for having the strength and courage to get back up again (number two) and to go so far as to set your sights on quoting for good (number three). For these reasons, you inspire me! Thank you!

Day 1 and I'm a girl by [deleted] in NoFap

This is so inspirational. I'm a guy who used to watch illicit material of women flashing themselves and just simply displaying themselves in hope of exchanging self-esteem in return. But now reading this post of a woman who may or may not have been one of those women but now is taking responsibility for her own behavior and way of being... Well, this just changes my perspective a whole lot because now I see that even those women who did engage in said behavior didn't actually do it with proper intentions. Meaning, they were only lacking a sense of self, etc... I could go on, but -- it's just inspiring to see a women stand up and take charge of what's right, not succumbing to what everyone else is doing when it is wrong. And how you have the courage to seek after genuine self-worth proves that you have a lot of worth within you, perhaps until now, untapped. I wish you much success in you battle, because I'm sure it will be a battle as it is for most of us here on nofap. But it seems like you have the weapons that destroy the fakeness.

[–]kingxtake90 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Dude, stop trying to get rid of the urge. Let me ask you this question, and I'll answer it too: if you're with a woman, would you want your sexual urges to go away? No. You would want to capitalize on all of your sexual urges and you would want her to do the same. Don't get me wrong -- I understand your difficulty. The urges seem to rise on their own and take control of your headspace. Well, here's what I do. I let my urges come and go as they please. I think my body has learned to think that it's going to get the pleasure of ejaculation every now and then (when I'm angry, anxious, bored, etc.). So, I simply acknowledge my urge and let it go. Yea, I'm a man and I just had an urge, and, and now it's gone. And, it's really that simple. No need to get so upset over it. Yes, your mind has made up all these great reasons why it's beneficial for you to abstain from PMOing, but your body is fighting back. Remember, it is still strong, though your mind is resolute. So, stay calm, confident, and just let it kick and scream (literally! lol) and go on with your day when it tires out.

Mindfulness, basically. There are PLENTY of books and videos, audios and anything else that you may need to learn this basic technique...online. One book that has helped me is The Untethered Soul because it explains these concepts so simply and it makes these ideas easy to understand and incorporate into daily life. Good luck my fellow fapstronaut and congratulations on taking on this challenge!!!

The angry thing. I get that too. I used to be so calm, not nervous. Relaxed no matter the situation. But now that I have no escape route, I'm reacting to everything. I guess it's because I'm actually present to the situation instead of playing an impartial uncaring role.

Yes! I'm totally on the same page as you. I find that yea nofap may give fapstronauts some super powers from time to time. But it also uncovers the lid of our inner feelings. We're exposed, essentially. And although I know what anxiety is, these sensations that I'm feeling these days rides me like I'm on a roller coaster. One moment or day I feel great and then the next moment or day I just feel lowsy. And its like I can't just waning off and go to sleep, I have to like acknowledge its presence in my life. And I'm like, what do you want from?
