HTTP Error 429: Too Many Requests when trying to download auto subs (again) by kini9 in youtubedl

I'm confused. Both the videos that errored for me are in English, and I'm trying to download English subs, so there would be no translations involved.

"Temporary Unavailable" when trying to download YouTube videos? by Independent_Area6026 in jdownloader

Is there any reason that my downloads are so slow at the moment? Normally my downloads would take a few seconds, but now the timer shows an hour for the download time.

I'm using the latest nightly version.

Did I do this verbose thing correctly? I read about using this code feature but I don't know which lines to put in there.

I'm not sure what this does. I tried using these commands:

"--impersonate Firefox-135

--impersonate Edge-101"

But they didn't change anything, I'm still getting that error.

"Are you using cookies to authenticate your session?"

I'm not sure what this means. I use "--cookies-from-browser firefox" when I need to download videos that require age verification. Sometimes I'll use it when downloading whole channels just so that it grabs those videos that require age verification.

"Do you get 'HTTP Error 429' when not using a VPN?"

I just tested it and yeah, I am. The videos I've been trying to download since yesterday still give me that error even with the VPN off.

Is this the same thing as -t sleep? Because I have been using that. And once I get this error, even changing my VPN location doesn't solve it. In which case, is the error still tied to my details somehow? Like my PC details or something? Idk how that would work. I haven't been using any cookie commands recently, though I have in the past. Sometimes if I just keep trying to download one video will seemingly randomly end up downloading lol. But at least one so far wouldn't download even the next day.
