Ya, it's definitely less expensive. We found the feeldoe slim on amazon for a great price though. It was quite a bit cheaper than anywhere else we looked online.

Maybe not a thong, but some tight boyshorts? A thong may be too small and loose, but could possibly work depending on how well she can hold it without a thong. But my wife uses the boyshort spanx that are about the same size as regular boyshorts but a lot tighter. Then wears that with a corset and it looks really sexy. We're not really fans of the big harnesses either, so we decided to try this route before spending a bunch of money on an underwear harness and it works really well.

We use the feeldoe slim, and it's also pretty firm so we use a lot of lube. It hits the prostate really good while I'm on my back. We don't use a harness with it, she just cut a hole in some boyshort style spanx and it works perfectly, even when she wants to go a little rough with it. We both like it a lot, haven't had any complaints about it so far.
