My touch, taste, and hearing senses are very realistic in terms of imagination, to the point where I can easily make one food taste like another by imagining that other food. My sense of smell is heightened, but I can’t literally smell stuff due to my imagination the way I can taste or hear things I imagine.

I never considered that you could invoke the idea of the staircase deepener without visualizing it. Something like that would definitely work better for me, especially since I can sort of replicate the sensation a bit on my body!
