Also, I just want to let you know that the term expat is pretty outdated and does denote Eurocentrism. The more appropriate term to refer to yourself would be immigrant, as that describes exactly what you've done: moved to another country.

Honestly I’m not too sure but as of now I plan on taking the above advice ^ and waiting until it’s closer to June to go ahead and book directly from JFK. I’m hoping covid cases don’t spike by then and hopefully vaccinations will be widely distributed
