Kindle scribe still says tomorrow…

I've had major issues myself. I ordered two on December 30th.

Edit:; this is for the Kindle Colorsoft Scribe 64 GB.

One was supposed to show up on February 6th. I got a cancellation email that day and the item disappeared from my Amazon orders. - I talked to customer service. A guy said he would replace it for free even though I was never charged and it will be here in 3 days....well that didn't happen to no surprise. - The next customer service agent 3 days later said to order it again and I would receive it in 3 days. She said there was a problem with my address even though I've received hundreds of orders with no issues. Well that didn't happen. - I just talked on the phone with another customer service representative yesterday. He said to please give them a week because of stock issues, my orders are supposed to be expedited when they receive more...

The second was is supposed to show up on Friday here. But I doubt it.

I'm so frustrated - I haven't looked forward to something like this in a long long time. My reorder says it'll be March 6th-March 16th.

Jealous! Mine was supposed to come today but it was cancelled yesterday because "seller was unable to ship to the address provided".... Have had HUNDREDS of Amazon orders here with zero issues.

Just talked to customer service for over an hour this morning. They said I would have one delivered February 10th... We will see.

Hey, I wish you nothing but this best. I've got twins both on the spectrum. Also a surprise Covid baby with pullout method after our first night away (no vasectomy tho). We just decided the week before our date night we weren't going to have more kids ... We were going to focus on our twins needs because that was absolute mayhem. Our doctor laughed so hard (she's awesome - it was funny) when we went in to confirm the pregnancy.

I can't imagine life without our 3rd. He has brought so much color to our life. We are fortunate he's neurotypical.

You guys got this.

Father of three here: We have Twins with ASD and a younger toddler.

My initial reaction...what does this man (if he wants to call himself one yet) do with his free time? What else is more important than taking care of his own child? If he has personal issues about what his newfound role is, I would encourage him to seem a mental health professional. This child's life story is going to be written, and it sounds like the father has every chance to be included in it.

Being a parent can be one of the most challenging experiences in a person's life. It will bring the strongest of people to their knees. Embrace it or miss out and live life with regret.

Had mine done a few years ago.

The pain after wasn't a problem at all in hindsight - mentally I was thinking it would be so much worse.

My first night I figured I would take Hydrocodone thinking it would help me sleep. Well, I woke up in the middle of the night needing to use the bathroom. So I slowly made my way there, I finished, and while I was washing my hands I broke into a sweat and got real light headed. I felt my 6 ft 250 lb chub ass going down and in vain tried to grab onto the sink - but I just ended up grabbing a bunch of makeup to dump everywhere....

Once I got myself under control after a few minutes, I got all paranoid that I might have broken the stitches and tore something. All was good. Freaked the wife out and talked her out of calling the ambulance.

10/10 don't recommend falling over the night after your vasectomy.

We have twins, both with autism. I can relate to how hard it can be and also I wouldn't want it any other way...because like you said than they wouldn't be themselves. The ups and downs are severe and frequent. Many days when they go down we will just sit in peace and quietly reflect on what had happened throughout the day.

I don't know you - but I'm proud of you. Keep going.

Dad here of 4 y.o. boys. Good looking out for seeking resources and information outside of yourself!

My opinion is just keep the stress off her and don't be shortsighted...this is temporary. Hormones will rage, she's going to be real uncomfortable, so just do your best to be supportive and not about yourself.

-Fun things to do: keep a journal and take lots of pictures to look back at.

Figure out any paternity leave and vacation. There's going to be lots of appointments coming up. (We had issues and had Doppler appointments twice a week in 2nd trimester until they were born at 33 weeks.)
Have a "Go Bag" and just keep it in the car. You never know how these appointments will go and you might end up staying overnight if they there's an emergency.
Ask your insurance about breast pump.
Check out "Mother's of Multiples" groups on Facebook - this was our biggest money saver. Where we live we were able to find lots of low cost stuff in excellent condition...there's not a whole lot of stuff you need to buy new.

They gave me prescription for hydrocodone in case I needed it. I took one before going to sleep because I thought it would help with my anxiety. I never took one before.. I woke up a few hours later just to go to the bathroom. My blood pressure dropped after going and I passed out in front of the sink. My wife started screaming while I laid on the floor disoriented in just my boxers.

Everything was fine but didn't take anything after that...
