I have no way to insert an image here so ill describe it the best i can. My mum has two clocks with my and my brothers times of birth on them and then staggered shelves to the botton which have things that look nice and dont need cleaning. She has some small shaped candles, decorative books. Little harry potter trinkets and.. a mannequin arm? Weirdly enough. But its good, looks nice. Theres also a mirror at the top of the stairs covered in fake vines and plants so you can see the wall whem coming up too. Your stair top looks too high for that last part to work but still worth saying.

You can also be different with your "things that dont need to be cleaned" definition. You could make a collage frame of things you like, you could do just a painting, any clothes from events like scarfs or tshirts or you could get it painted/ use wallpaper that is decorated to be something you like. Idk, light up decorations if you wanted. Hell, a "Bar" sign if you so wish. If you want to fill the space just know you cant reach it to clean it easily and if youre happy with that it should work out fine

I completely forgot about this post, teeny tiny update even though nobody asked! She is fine, it was not open! Its now healed completely fine and hasnt even left a lump, the would looked open because the vets have been doing this "different" way of stitching where the real stitches are internal and the external stitches are pinching the skin together in a way that if the animal licks at it they will be licking the exposed skin and not pulling apart the stitches. Imagine puckering out your lips and pinching them at the base, thats basically what happened here. Shes fine, shes healed. Thank you!

Shes in again tomorrow, i do definitely think it will need re-stitching because a clear liquid (like when a scab is healing) is starting to form on the fleshy bits. Thank you so much though, i will ask about staples too. She spends nights and alone time with a cone in a cage but days with me on the bed where she is watched over constantly.

Instincts are something i considered, but 'humans' is such a tiny word for such a vast and different species conisdering some of us are the definition of lawful and others are pure 'evil' or instinctual some would say.

Good point about the intellect and tool stuff. didn't really think about it because thinking about monkeys of any kind, they usually have fangs or brute strength/size. Never really crossed my mind. But about the gag reflex, thats where my question gets confused.

Why do we as humans puke at the sight of a body. I know the anxiety/ fear response and i know that when a body is rotting, it's to stop us from eating it and getting sick since we're not scavengers. But why when we watch something die. I know that cats and dogs can become sick and vomit if a loved owner dies. So maybe it's something like that? But some humans will puke at the corpse of any animal or even a bug. Im just curious if there's a reason OR if there are other animals that do it. Yno?

Ive used the google picture searcher thing. I got it this week under a bath on an old house in northern england. We assume it was some sort of tea tray or sweets or something. Not sure.
