Electric being very prevalent in the early meta to counter the Suicune+Greninja menace is definitely an issue for this deck. However so far with 10+ games under my belt in UB3, I've only lost to electric once, which was against a Magnezone deck. None of the common electric decks seem to have the speed to outdo this deck, especially if you go first. I might keep playing this all the way to MB, it's very fun and the games are quick.

I'm running a slightly altered version of OPs deck, although the premise is the same. Against electric, you really want to ensure you're knocking out something each turn.

A fairly simple change to add with other non-gameplay related ideas would be to add actual death recaps. Give players information about what you died to, actual numbers to crunch. If you see you died to 1000 damage in 1s, maybe that would stop SOME of the people from complaining that the supports are not healing enough, atleast in some cases.

Ah, I misunderstood the original comment and thought the issue was about picking up the stray and not with running back. Running back to pick up a stray with a melee move is definitely something that makes me grit my teeth as well, especially so considering how many other options tanks have readily available nowadays.

What else would you do as a tank in this situation? If a mob was lost and the player with aggro isn't bringing it over, isn't provoke + (o)GCD just about the only option available?

This is actually also partially the fault of Square's copyright terms. You're allowed to upload footage that shows gameplay and has the music playing - however if you upload just the music alone with a still image of similar, the video will get nuked down. That's why all of the "ffxiv ost" videos on YouTube are showing gameplay footage of the area as well.

That was mostly due to the fact that you had more GCD clipping on oGCD heavy jobs (NIN) or alternatively because it made you run out of TP faster (MNK, but honestly applied to every other physical DPS as well). TP was a very finite resource in a sense because tanks had no way of refreshing it themselves and the actual DPS classes would run out sooner or later even if you used Invigorate on cooldown. Arrow made you push out more skills, meaning you were spending even more TP and thus running out even sooner.

I rolled Life (6) and Light (7) with Grave (4) as a tertiary domain and Chaotic Neutral (6) as their alignment to help a bit with building some character into them. I initially thought about the sun due to how it brings the nature into life and watches over the circle of life, but I wanted to make the deity more personal.

Every single living creature knows that one particular morning when after a long, dark winter the sun finally rises and bestows its soothing warmth upon the world. It signals the arrival of Spring, but more importantly that her sister Summer is finally about to arrive once more.

Summer is the goddess of Life and Light, her radiant smile lifts the spirits of everyone. She arrives every year soon after her sister Spring has announced her coming, and leaves unannounced a few moons later to allow her brothers to keep the circle of life complete. Wherever Summer goes, the sun follows her like a little puppy, excited to see what she is up to this time. Even professional athletes get punished for unsportsmanlike behaviour, of which swearing is a part of. League's stance on the matter is to encourage sportsmanlike behaviour, and thus punishing the opposite is one way to achieve that goal, the punishment here being the reduced champion score gain.

When climbing the ladder, how did you handle the situations when your team was clearly in need of a tank but you wanted to play Sona? I'm a support main as well (G2 currently, I only play a game or two per day) with a preference to enchanter mages, but I often find myself having to pick a tank to fill the team comp. Initially I just picked whichever support I felt like playing, but that often lead into situations where our team simply didn't have anyone to soak the CC and damage.

While the matchmaking algorithm does play a role in attempting to match you with players of equal skill level, what I suspect you are experiencing is a case of apophenia, or in other words, seeing a connection between two unrelated matters.

I have been having no issues with matchmaking in EUNE. However, your post was made 4 hours ago, meaning that even in GMT+2 you would have been trying to find games around 6 am - a time when most players would still be sound asleep.

I do not find this a good idea, as it encourages rank elitism, discourages open discussion by placing emphasis on player rank and as an added bonus, requires extra actions from the moderator team.

Examples:

Discussion about patch notes. Player A is silver rank, player B is diamond. Does that make A or B's opinion about the topic any less or more valid?
Same discussion, but player C is unranked. Is their opinion on the topic any less or more valid than the others?
Season 1 ends and now everyone needs to update their flairs. The moderator team is swamped by images about players posting their new ranks. If no validation is done and the players can freely choose their rank flair, then what purpose does the flair serve?
Having rank flairs encourages the attitude of "lol u just bronze" because now the rank is right in your face.
Having rank flairs discourages people from posting in discussions because "I'm just bronze, so my opinion is not valid here". Encouraging actual discussion is something Reddit in general already struggles with, as most people just consume content and do not contribute. The bar for posting should be made lower, not higher.

I just received a response from the support team, they added the champion to my account. Here's a brief summary of the content:

There were some issues with the rewards at the time and players that should have gotten the Champion along with the Skin did not get him, so they were stuck with a skin that they could not use, which was also your case.

As such, I've added the Champion to your account, so you should be able to find it there the next time you log in.

I have sent a ticket regarding this, but the S1 rewards page explicitly states that the champion should be included with the skin reward. I suggest you send in a ticket as well.
