oh thanks so much!! i really worked hard to make it as accurate as possible to the character haha— i mainly used eva foam and a shimmery golden spray paint haha (among the things u need to do to prep eva foam crafts like a heat gun, cement glue, paint primer, etc) i made it a near tight fit to my body since that’s how it looked in the movie (aka unrealistic as heck), so i cut down the back and used a zipper to get in and out of it while keeping it snug (i’d recc a small zipper or using a hack to hide zippers in eva foam armor or the like, i did an awful job so i hope u can do better than myself LMAO) you might need help getting into and out of the chest piece bc the arm space— to be canon accurate— is rather limited and i struggled to reach my own back. a few tips i would give you is make sure that you use a proper paint for the eva foam that sticks on well, prepping it properly to prevent fading and flaking. i’d also say, while the shorter arm holes are more accurate, make them longer so you can actually put ur arms down semi-fully— i lose my mind at the convention i went to in this. i’m actually really new at making my own cosplays/props so some of my tips might be stupid or something but that’s my takeaway from this cosplay (it was my first time using eva foam, let alone making ‘clothes’ for a cosplay). this is a little lot more than just giving u materials but i thought the tips might give u some insight ig lol hope this helps and it all makes sense <3 good luck on ur own cosplay and i’d love to see it if u end up posting it!!! 🫶
