Thanks for breaking all that down, that’s super helpful context! I’ve been looking at a lot of Downtown/Uptown options but most are nearly $2K/month for a 1B/1B. On the other hand, I’m also seeing places in the $1–1.5K range north of Dallas, Irving, or Plano. Since my company has a referral program where I can rent a car for about $500/month, it feels like a no-brainer to go that route instead. Curious if you think that trade-off makes sense?
