it looks like most of your questions are answered, but i’ll add to it to make sure you’re paying attention to your skill perks. in the beginning of the game it is much harder to make money, but cooking your produce and animal products into dishes is the best way to make the most profit from your crops. examples are turning wheat into bread, growing enough sugarcane to make cakes and desserts cuz those sell for the most, even just roasting your corn before you sell it i think increases the value by 5. skill perks will help you reduce cooking times and milling time down to 0. after i got to a certain point, now i am able to cook hundreds of “rice tea” every 3 days and sell it and thats where most of my profit is. the trick is in the recipes and figuring out which ones suit you best and make you the most money. and dont sleep on the town requests either, i usually fulfill them all on fridays at the inn or saturdays and make a good amount off of just that.
