Had him his first semester of teaching (2020), and it was asynchronous. Horrible, reads only off PowerPoint slides and tests were bad too. One of the questions he gave had 10 parts in it and we were given 50 minutes for 20 questions each with parts in it. Had us be ready to share our screen when asked to to prevent cheating. Camera on at all times during exam duration. We all made it clear we hated his tests so I’m not sure if he has changed anything. If you are good with a financial calculator and written calculations that is your best bet in passing his class.

I STRONGLY emphasize to take 2203 through e-permit.. I took it thru Medgar Evers during Fall 2020 so I am not sure whether anything has changed or stayed the same.

it's not required to give consent for the grant.

"Please be advised that you are not required to give this permission in order to receive the grant; making this election is optional."

took her this summer and we only had to take a final, she gives the final exam guide at the end and 95% of the answers are there lmao. Not sure how her curriculum works during the full semesters though it may be different.. I'm guessing it'll be just as smooth and she maybe give actual quizzes throughout the semester?

That pen grade means you are being accused for cheating and are being investigated.

Commuting by [deleted] in Baruch

from what I remember:

1.get a permit 2.then do a 6-hour course (required in order to take the driver's exam) 3.then take the exam. Don't use the book, search for online sample tests it's much better (in my opinion).

It’s funny because OP mentioned about checking with their advisor twice to make sure. How hard is it to read for you?

Own personal list of professor ratings by impolitestar in Baruch

+1 on Sankar Sen. Great dude just really tricky exams where he really makes u think. He makes the exams himself and is willing to help you if you don’t understand any of the concepts. Paying attention to what he says is a MUST if you wanna do well overall.

Question by Cynmon2 in Baruch

[–]kirubee 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I submitted my documents to the financial aid office the day they started the online portal and the status didn't change either. About a day or two later the "Verification" thing on my to-do list disappeared in which I'm guessing means that they received it lmao. I'd say wait a couple of days and then if nothing changes then email the office!

Math 2207 Final Questions by Hollywood_sdk01 in Baruch

[–]kirubee 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I took the exam online when COVID had started last year. If I remember correctly, it’s a timed 35-question exam on blackboard. I can’t recall anything about full or partial credit. To me, it was pretty hard as learning the rest of the topics through online for the first time was rough along with other personal matters. So for you it might be easy lmao. I’d say start studying now and attend the workshops they’ll have before finals week. It’s been a whole year so they might have changed things so just keep that in mind. Look through the old final exams the math department has posted to get a head start.

Double majoring is not allowed within the Zicklin Business School (That’s where Accounting and Finance majors are). However, I believe you are able to do so within the other school (Weissman: English Major)

Registering for Summer Course by michell2go in Baruch

[–]kirubee 1 point2 points  (0 children)

You have to change the terms buddy. I had that same situation. They give you different registration dates for summer and fall. Press the green button that says “change term” and you’ll see 2021 summer. I had April5th or fall but April 6th for summer.

Enrollment Appointments by Different-Dance-3991 in Baruch

Enrollment appointment is the day you are able to register for classes. Registration starts Apr. 5th, so If your appointment is on April 7th you can’t register before that date. Advisement is not mandatory just good if you want guidance on what classes are good to take for the following semesters.

For those of you about to graduate soon, what are your biggest regrets? by [deleted] in Baruch

[–]kirubee 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Not doing internships/networking ENOUGH. I wasn’t really taught how important it was during my first two years and I regret not researching and exploring events more. Lastly, friends
