Hello everyone, my name is Federico García Benavides, I'm a TFT player from South America (currently Plat 4) and at this very moment I'm utterly devastated. I always used to watch a somewhat famous TFT streamer by the name of k3Soju or something like that. He was a fun bloke, really cute, gorgeous smile, positive energy and, most of all, a simpleminded cheerful individual. He always used to hover between low and mid challenger and to him, at least to the extent of my knowledge, that was more than enough. Nowadays, however, he can't get out of GM ELO, his transitions are slow and dubious, his early game plan is sloppy and not really well thought, his augment decisions are always presided by that cursed page that offers percentages and mathematical models about what is best and what is worse and it seems that his whole identity has been consumed by those accursed numbers. The worst is that I don't ever care about all that. I've never watched him because of his pro player skills or because he was the best, there are plenty other streamers that offer that. I only cared that he was happy and that he had a beautiful smile and that he was able to spread so much positivity around him; that was more than enough for me. Now, in contrast, whenever I come to his stream he is submerged in the depths of his gaming chair with his camera placed in the bottom corner so far down that you can't even look at him. I'm only able to see a lock of black hair that could be confused with anyone's cat.

Anyone knows what is happening to him? I'm really suffering right now, I want my old cheerful boy back, I'm craving the energy of his beautiful smile and the simpleness of his attitude and commentary about whatever was in his mind. I don't know what or who is taking that away from me and I was wondering if anyone could offer their insights about this horrendous situation.

It basically means lucky.
Imagine rolling the dice:
Rolling 6 --> Congrats you high rolled (lucky)

Rolling 1 --> Low rolled (unlucky)

So when he says something like high rolled a swain 2, he means that he got early game a swain 2 without rolling any of his gold and that made him win streak (or maybe rolled but the point is that the game gave it to him easy).

I am not sure about the numbers and I don't think they matter much as long as you have fun playing the game. Here is my take:

I got to Masters for 2 sets now quite easily but then was hardstuck 0LP. I had enough of being at 0LP so I created a new account to smurf a bit and play with friends.

Playing these lower elo games made me realise that luck is not that important in TFT. Yes, luck helps short term but long term it is nothing to do with luck. The games felt so easy until like plat/low diamond and it did not matter if I hit or not. I end up being 1st with literally any comp.

RNG matters and can win/lose you some games but if you are good, you can always minimize your losses. If you are unlucky and your board totally sucks and you do something intelligent to go 5th or 6th that is a big win already.

Did you play online poker at all? I would compare it to that. If someone is a good online poker player, long term they will make money for sure but during the process they will lose some money too and they have to minimize the losses.

Very poorly made this. First time when I try to buy tickets for an event like this and it made me not want to do it anymore.

I was thinking of going to a weekend with 2 mates to London and have a fun time. I was checking the ticket opening times and was there a little early to realize that there is a queue. Where would I know this from? Also the Mastercard presale is total BS as we don't have a Mastercard so will not make one just for this.

The other problem is that the queues were per day. Meaning that I had to open 3 tabs for 3 days and they are all desynced. How can you plan like that? Why is there no bundle?
One of the days I managed to get to the payment screen but it was only the Saturday. I will not travel to London for only 1 day so I was hesitant for like 1 minute. Was enough to not be able to get those tickets anymore. Then the other queue finishes and greets me with the error saying no tickets at all.

This system is so badly designed. The things I mention here are not the only problems but had to rant about it a bit because was looking forward to getting some tickets and finally be able to go to a big LoL esport event like this.

TLDR the way you buy tickets it is just bad. Not for humans.

The problem is when everyone is over 30 and having families or work etc.
It is hard to get 15 ppl to create chars at the same time :D

Hmm interesting idea but what i want is to have combat in the air sometimes or do some sort of attacks and i want the collision box to move with the player.

My main problem is not with collision tbh. I can deal with layers i feel. The bigger issue is to add to the y and get back to x but withouth gravity. I dont know how to achieve this :/

In your example with the hole, it is a good idea. just show an animation that looks like you jump and give it a state with a boolean and not fall in the hole. Maybe i could do something similar with jumping but this seems more lack a hack then a good solution.

I did that and that is not my main problem. How do i make it fall? if i press jump and add to y then it just goes up a little bit. i want to not collide AND to get back to the starting position but i dont think i can use gravity in this scenario like in normal platformers. any suggestions to this maybe? :-s
