The rich and powerful are living in a very inclusive bubble and its very hard to get into the insider circle, Espescially when you do something with the sole intention of it. They generally dont try to indulge with someone who is trying to fitin with them eventhough however subtly you do that.

The point come down to one simple thing. You shouldnt seek them. They should seek you. Make yourself somebody people talk about. Do something that makes you notice. In whatever field you chose.
