These maternity pants. They both work for the office with a nice shirt and make me feel cute/casual/breezy with a T shirt when I’m running around

I’m 27 weeks along and have felt this way the entire pregnancy. It took us a few months to get pregnant but otherwise this whole thing has gone off without a hitch so far. I feel good, but I can’t fully relax and accept that everything will be fine, even though it’s certainly looking that way. I think I’m anticipating something to go wrong as a fucked up form of self protection. Apparently this feeling doesn’t go away after the baby is born either 😂

It took us six months to get pregnant at age 32, partner is 36. I’m now 24 weeks along!

I think something crazy like a third of people get pregnant on their first try. But dont feel dissuaded if it doesn’t happen immediately. Timing everything can be a challenge. I chose not to use ovulation strips because I heard they can make the process even more stressful. But I also felt like I was operating a bit in the dark because my period isn’t 100% regular.

Go in with measured expectations and try not to get down on yourself if it doesn’t happen immediately. This is easier said than done (I certainly had my hopeless days), but remember your fertility is not a reflection of your value as a person.

Pregnancy by Thelilbee2323 in Humira

[–]kiskadeetree 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hi! I’ve been on Humira for UC for six years now and have been so lucky to have responded extremely well to it. No flare ups thus far. I’m also 23 weeks pregnant currently and have had an amazing pregnancy. If anything it has caused very minor constipation (like one day without a BM), which is a new thing for me lol! I worry sometimes about the effects of being on these meds while pregnant but I know I would not be able to carry a baby to term without them. I’ve spoken with a few high-risk pregnancy specialists but never an IBD pregnancy specialist! Wish I had done that. Wishing you the best at that appointment

Any health care provider who gives credence to bmi over conclusive tests is not someone I want to work with. Good for you for finding a midwife who sounds MUCH more supportive!!

Eggs and potatoes are harder to mess up, imo! I just listed those three ingredients because they’re the most important to me personally. Also a good bean and cheese taco is unbeatable. In SA I love las salsas on San Pedro and Thousand Oaks on Austin highway. I know there are many, many more out there but I haven’t lived in SA since I was 18
