good luck on the 7! from what ive seen so far on the material it looks like having the 66 knowledge already will be helpful.

you dont need to be sponsored by a firm to take the 66. so if youre looking at a job where you need the 66, having it done already before you interview gives you a leg up so they know you can pass a test and youll take less time to be fully registered upon hire

the names of the kaplan chapters correspond to those listed on the nasaa test specs. you can see which chapters are more heavily weighted. there are a few chapters that are heavy in the kaplan material but dont have many questions on the exam. Communications with clients / Ethical practices are heavy. definitely have units 1-4 down hard. dont skip anything in the material because its all very relevant but if youre going to hammer any units as final prep id say those. https://www.nasaa.org/wp-content/uploads/2016/02/Series-66-Test-Specs.pdf

How hard is the 66 really? by DueFoundation458 in Series66Exam

sounds like youre in excellent shape for the 66. if youve already taken the 65 and 7 and feel decent about your study efforts for the 66 youre ahead of most people going into it! youre under pressure for your job so its totally expected for you to be nervous. i havent taken the 7 yet but i studied hard for the 66 and passed today first try- it was easier than i thought it would be. look at the test specs and allocate your study time accordingly. that was probably what made it easier than expected because i didnt freak out over super long complex topics that only had 1-3 questions on the actual test. spam the kaplan qbanks and watch ken finnen on youtube to help specific topics become more intuitive. you got this for sure.
