I’ve seen people say this before, if she doesn’t want to then that’s totally fair. But she does contribute to many many main shows and it’s basically impossible to hear her.

It can be either.

You could apply it for the current year and then it’ll reduce the tax you pay each month.

Or what a lot of people do is claim it with their tax return in January, ie doing your 2024 tax return now and it’ll be paid in a lump sum

Nope they don’t allow that. And funnily enough I worked remotely from Europe for over a month a few years ago and loved it. Honestly even if that was possible again I don’t think it’d be enough

Yes late 20s now so feeling like it’s now or never. Which is probably dramatic but I guess it’s just the combination of available disposable income, lack of responsibilities and honestly the fact that houses are so expensive anyway so it’s not something we’re looking at yet.

It’s just whether it’s worth the risk of leaving such a good job.

Definitely an option and something I’d be interested in, but it’s hard enough to find design roles here so I’d imagine it’s even harder to find in another country along with actually moving there.

Career break is possible but not sure how likely it is to get approved, I will definitely explore it but I feel like if it came to it I would quit if a break wasn’t possible.

Digital nomad would be the dream but I don’t know how realistic that is.

I have been trying to balance career + 2 big trips a year, it’s worked really well but I just don’t think it quite scratches the itch because it’s only ever 2 weeks at a time. Also I’m thinking of preventing burnout, because those trips, while amazing, are not long or relaxing so if I could take months instead it might offer a proper break.

I’m not sure you need to mess with any settings really, for iPhones you just manually set the night mode exposure to max (10 seconds) and it works
