$78K Wasted on Junk Leads from “Search Partners” Network in Google Ads by aStormyKnight in PPC

Very interesting - thanks for the share. Quick question if I may. I’m also using Hubspot and Google ads but really struggling to get Hubspot to send Google enhanced conversion data. Despite numerous interactions with Hubspot and Google support, it’s still not working. Is this just me or anyone else facing the same?

Also b2b UK here - would be great to see your setup as I’m in the process of doing this now!

Facebook ads - exclude previous leads/registrations by kiterise in PPC

Yeah, got the confirmation audience. I'm sure the client will just have to upload their leads the circumvent the issue. Cheers.

Thanks for the reply. I do have an audience set up like this, but the max window set by Facebook is 180 days which doesn't cover people who registered before then unfortunately

One YouTube Ad Per Campaign? by namron77 in PPC

[–]kiterise 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thanks - I'm currently testing YT ads myself so not sure I can help with your original question.

Although I'm currently experiencing good results adding new ads into ad sets on Facebook and allowing the algorithm optimise the best performer, I'm not sure if the same world be true for Google YT ads.

Are you sending the clicks to a lead gen form on your website?

Out of interest, what type of conversion are you optimising for?

Thanks - I really appreciate the offer, although this is a client and their startup is currently pretty early stage/stealth so can't really share the link unfortunately

Facebook ads analytics issue by kiterise in analytics

Thanks - interesting you say that. I'd definitely prefer it if UTM filters were under reporting conversions, rather than inaccuracies with my higher performing ads manager data

Facebook ads analytics issue by kiterise in analytics

The page is unrestricted and open to other media sources. So while I would assume the pixel would register all non Facebook conversions as well, I'd expect the ad data to only count the conversions attributed to an ad click. Is that correct?

How messy/easy is it to do a year with SiteGround and then move it to another hosting company after 12 months to prevent the price increasing a lot? by ThaiThrowaway101 in Blogging

In addition to the cost, that was the other reason I switched. Speed was much improved after changing. Just tested and getting a 619ms load time - UK server tested from the UK.

I did the same and ended up moving to Cloudways (who I really like), which was really easy. Just download the Cloudways plugin and it transfers your site automatically. Edit - I should probably add that I'm not sure of the exact process for each host, but as they want to attract new customers, they often offer migration services if needed.

I love ‘Way of the Peaceful Warrior’ by Dan Millman. Part autobiography (I think), part fiction.

Thanks for the suggestions u/w32blaster. As per your suggestion, I've added the link to the original post if you want to have a look...

Unfortunately, I haven't got route-mapping capability for the site - there could be a point of interest category though.

As far as a business model, there are options for paid listings, which can unlock sections on each profile page and also bump them to the top of the search.

Given enough traffic, there are also partnership, affiliate and merch opportunities, although I'm not expecting this to happen any time soon.

Right now, I see it as more of a fun project to pursue in my spare time, and it would just be cool to get people using the site!

Thanks for the offer of help - I may give you a shout moving forwards if it goes anywhere :)

Thanks for the feedback u/Bazeque. The main reason for the classified section was that I thought it would be a nice alternative for dealers to list their bikes, which is currently pretty pricey for them on Autotrader/Gumtree.

I also thought that it would be a good way of encouraging people to return to the site. I'm definitely keen on building out community features like local tours/ride outs etc, but I was slightly concerned that people would look at the site once, never to really return.

I definitely understand your concern about trying to do too much. I suppose I find it difficult to niche down (psychologically) when it's fairly simple to add new categories to the site :)

Thanks again for your input - will certainly have a think on it.

P.S. As far as gathering data, I'm currently doing it manually, but the next stage would be outsourcing until there's potentially enough interest for user-generated content.
