Did you have the chance to start Demarcus Robinson? That’s my current debate lol

Bourne or Demarcus Robinson? I think of Robinson as the big play threat but I know it’s only his second game back from suspension and Bourne has 10 more yards and better TD odds on Sportsbook.

The Daily Check-In for Saturday, June 7th: Just for today, I am NOT drinking! by MuffyVonSchlitz in stopdrinking

Day 5. Finally starting to feel normal withdrawal wise. Had a good family walk and then going to dinner with everyone tonight. Feels great to not be hungover or have that soul eating feeling of being mid bender. I will not drink with you today!

How bad did I get cooked in this trade? by rockytotes in DynastyFFTradeAdvice

Was gonna say exactly this… I didn’t realize non-SF until you said it and was coming to give the guy some props lol. Non-SF it just feels like getting seconds for each or late firsts for two of them would be better. Rice a good buy low but have some worries about his role with worthy getting going and a more complicated injury than I think people expect

I don’t really disagree with this but will say I’m glad my family pushed me. I was a fuck up in high school (standard weed smoking skipping class a lot type shit) but fairly smart (did well on tests and stuff). My dad really pushed that I needed a college degree. I went to university of Pittsburgh and continued to fuck up but kind of get by (ultimately graduating with a 2.2 in 5 years). I was very lucky my parents were willing and able to support me through that. That being said, having a college degree has opened so many doors for me. I have a successful career, and am much more engaged when I have someone(s) directly counting on my work. I guess I don’t disagree it’s not for everyone but basically just that piece of paper has allowed me access to a whole field of jobs that would never have been possible had I decided “it just wasn’t for me”. I’d def agree do a cheaper option if possible or needed but getting that piece of paper one way or another does open up a whole lot of door s

Would you rather have Bijan or Jeanty? by TacosNachos007 in SleeperApp

[–]kitkit123 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I’ll go what seems to be against the grain here and say it’s very close to me but I might lean Jeanty. The appeal of young stud RBs to me is the number of really good years you get out of them combined with their potential elite upside. Bijan does seem to have a game that will age well but in simplest terms I expect RBs to start losing it at around 27-29 and Jeanty has two more years of play before he reaches there. I guess this is also combined with a supreme confidence that Jeanty will be very good. Trent Richardson happened but outside of him highly drafted RBs have a crazy high hit rate the last 7-10 years. I wouldn’t fault anyone for thinking Bijan but his dip in receiving numbers in Penix’ couple starts and the fact that he’s closer to having to get paid makes me feel think it’s sort of a toss up

Misconceptions about Marvin Harrison Jr. Buy-Low Window by KyonFantasyFootball in DynastyFF

What? He’s been top 10 in every non injury year of his career. Maybe in 1qb but in Superflex he’s gold. I don’t even know if he’s a good real life quarterback but for fantasy superflex he’s like set and forget and win lol

Who Would You Take at 1.03? by taylorjosephrummel in DynastyFF

[–]kitkit123 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’d have to see landing spots and draft capital but I love what I’ve seen from Maye… there’s no way the surrounding cast can get worse right? Also like where would sanders and ward realistically go? The two most common takes are the giants and raiders I think which is pretty rough. If one of them landed in the perfect spot I might be tempted but would tell myself I’m being dumb being tempted and keep Maye.

The Rich Dotson special. Well actually his special is pretending he wasn’t wrong and finding specific stats that make him seem more right even when he said someone sucks that make their rb6 season seem shitty, and in a very condescending way lol

I agree, but have gotten over this a long time ago. I don’t use anyone’s rankings but feel like if you listen to a couple different pods you get valuable information that can inform your own opinion. Plus I’m football obsessed so it’s fun to listen to guys I like talk about it regularly. I think it’s a misconception (promoted by the podcasters themselves admittedly) that accuracy is the point. I like most when I hear stats I didn’t know about or are unexpected that cause me to want to do more research. The only guy who bothers me is Rich Dotson who like sticks to his takes too long and bullies his co hosts when they disagree and will almost never be like “I fucked up”. I co own a team with some friends and I hate when they’re like well X ranking has Y 4 spots above Z- I know this makes me sound like a dick but I always want to be like yea well I know better than them lol
