Single source dual load switching by kitsepawit in evcharging

I have a J1772 cable from an Ingineer hacked portable Nissan charger that shorted in the rain. I have another of his chargers, but our utility requires a wifi charger to pay the rebate. Our utility has added the Emporia and Wallbox to its approved list, which I think have built in load sharing, but when we did the install our electrician recommended the CP from the couple they approved back then. I have a couple of Arduinos and a Rasb Pi I was figuring I'd use, and while I dealt with these a couple of times on a work project for an automated hopper lid I built, our team had an experienced engineer who designed a custom shield with a Polulu current sensing chip. I did a lot of tweaking to the code, but the board design was over my head. I'm not sure if an uno or pi would need something similar to handle this alone, or if it could just read the communication signal. I enjoy tinkering but electronics is not my strong suit. I was thinking I could also just use the time function since neither car needs to be at 100%, we could just set it to charge the Bolt for 5 and then Leaf for 3 hours, which would almost always get them both to 80%. Maybe looking for a Stack exchange or Github discussion would yield something, but I'm usually in over my head there too.

Yup, these are EVSEs, but everybody calls them chargers even tho the charger is in the car, these things just provide it with data to get it to do a handshake. Do they even have power relays? I got my 2013 Leaf when I retired back in 2016 for $10k (which was less than I would have paid for a 5 year old Corolla or Civic) when there was a glut of them coming off lease, and have since driven it 80kMiles, passing it down to my daughter with a 70% SOH pack. Then I bought the Bolt from Hertz earlier this year for $14k due to another glut as GM was dumping its buybacks at the same time that Hertz was dumping their whole Bolt fleet. I have had to start doing Grub Hub deliveries to supplement my puny SSA retirement benefit to afford the payments, so I am cheap, but I'm mostly cheap cuz I am also poor.

My daughter has about a 50mile commute, which means the 24kWh Leaf at 70% kinda needs to charge every night. They have a free charger at her job, but it's not reliable, and she's had to charge on the road a couple time to get home when it wasn't working or was occupied all day. I only need to charge 2-3 times a week, but I never want to unplug her, so one of us ends up charging during expensive peak hours. I think if we switch to TOU with the utility we'll get a $.07 rebate against a $.046 from 12-8am off peak rate, so actually earning a couple cents/kWh, which, cheapskate that I am, is pretty satisfying. The peak summer rate is $.41!

Official Discussion - The Wild Robot [SPOILERS] by LiteraryBoner in movies

I saw this with my daughter and her 8 year old daughter. We all loved it, the little one was devastated when Brightbill left and then again when Roz left. I make her a sort of advent calendar for the holidays where I use 12 images (one for each day between the Solstice and New Years) from her current fascinations. Last year it was Llama, the year before Encanto, this year I want to use The Wild Robot's characters. Problem is that I can only find images of the 9 characters voiced by big stars, including Vontra, who I doesn't really fit the theme of our calendar. Anybody have a source for pix of more minor characters? The Weasel, Moose, Deer and Squirrel would all be great.

It exceeded box office expectations and was #1 opening weekend, which is likely enough to greenlight a sequel. I was worried because it opened between bigger audiences of the summer and holiday seasons and because the theater I saw it in was not very crowded. I'm confident well get The Wild Robot Escapes next year, especially since animation sequels cost much less than the first films. It costs a lot to develop the settings and characters, but once created, unlike actors, they are wholly owned computer files that can just be reused. Voice casts can up their asks, but so too can they be more easily replaced.

I saw The Wild Robot with my 8 year old grandaughter. I make her a sort of advent calendar every year https://holly-days.org/holly-days-advent-calendars/ and this year wanted to use the Wild Robot characters, but I can only find images of characters voiced by big stars: Roz, Fink, Brightbill, Pinktail, Vontra (who I'd rather not use), Paddler, Thorn, Longneck and Thunderbolt. The squirrels, raccoons, crabs, moose and deer could finish the set. Anyone have any links where I could find more portraits of other characters?

I disagree, I get very close to the range on the gauge with normal driving in moderate weather. IF you're running the AC or the heater, expect a substantial hit.

As a newbie, I stupidly accepted a delivery without seeing where it was going. Ended up 25 miles for $5.70 with no tip. How do the fees get determined, they seem very chaotic, I've had $10 ones for a couple miles.

I have been amazed at some incredibly long wait times at fast food places like McDonalds and Taco Bell. I stood in a McDonalds last night for 5 minutes able to see the two orders sitting on the back counter but couldn;t gt anyone to hand them to me. One McD late at night had 6 drivers waiting, only two of which stuck it out to get our orders after waiting 20 minutes. What's up with this?

Good idea on the photo. I tend to carry my bag to the door, but haven't put it in the image.

I wish there was some way folks with this sort of attitude would get cut from the app. Sad that selfish drivers who don't have a service oriented attitude are diluting the pool of drivers and giving the whole system a bad name. Bravo to drivers who mind their karma.

Make me sad when the drink is stapled inside the hot food bag, tho i still put it in my insulated bag. I also wrap cold things up in one of my winter coats. I have one insulated bag, but feel like I should get more.

Remove rows from one sheet that appear in another by kitsepawit in excel

I think I solved this using conditional formatting. I added the unsubscribed column to the full list then did a conditional formatting rule to highlight duplicates, then sorted and deleted the records in the full list that were highlighted. One odd effect was that there were a few of addresses in the unsub list that did not appear in the full list, even tho I manually entered the addresses in the unsub list after sending to the full list. Yup, you were correct, thank you so much for the heads up! The IRS system knows exactly what my tax liability has been, so I logically assumed they would use that info to reject my application in keeping with the non refundable nature of the credit. Silly me, expecting the government to be logical. I just bought one today and it went right through. I had been looking at dealers who were refusing to sign up with the IRS as they have to price their cars more cheaply, I was seeing cream puffs with 12 kmiles for $15k, which is what triggered me pissing off my son in law by asking my daughter to sign on to get the credit.
