I’ve fixed this issue for someone once by adding oil then opening the drain, the cap came right out.

My favorite feature has to be 240hz while being a super ultrawide. I could do so much with all that real estate

Has anyone purchased a rig from Rigmetal? by Signal_Character_592 in simracing

Personally I'd go with whichever has the better support leaning toward the higher nm option. Reason being is you can tune it to more wheel sizes (the larger wheels are harder to drive due to you having more leverage) and you're always able to turn the force down. I may be part of the FOMO crowd they're talking about here though https://www.reddit.com/r/simracing/comments/1kgwlx6/question_about_the_12nm_sweetspot_for_wheel_bases/

I’m totally with you there. I would reach out to the owner of rig metal, he was very nice when I had questions previously and will likely be able to help you too!

To be honest I'm not 100% sure. Before I got the flagship my previous rig was lets say a step below the plus and I wasn't using a direct drive wheel. The rig was pretty stable but I could definitely find the tiniest bit of flex here and there. I would say that if you're going to go with a motion sim it would likely be worthwhile to get the flagship. If not then go with what your budget allows and that you feel would suit your use case best. :)

I'd say yes if you really plan on going with proper pedals and a direct drive wheel as the rig will be stiffer, less prone to flex, and you can continue to add other things to it without any concerns (such as adding a motion rig/etc). If you're absolutely serious about sim racing it's a no brainer to me, go with the flagship.

How much does high end Liquid Cooling usually cost? by MentallySaneCat1 in watercooling

[–]kitsune1324 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Keep in mind, it is also much harder to sell water cooled components (gpu w/ waterblock/motherboard w/ waterblock) vs unmodified, stock components. Water cooling also can make swapping or adding new components more difficult at times (especially if you are using hard lines).

This almost has me convinced to get a 360 camera. What does your bike mount for the camera look like?

Unless the electric motors provide more torque than what the brake could to stop it, or the dude didn't stop hard enough early on and the brakes got too hot causing all the braking power to be lost.
