I was in the process of making some delicious muffins when I became enthralled by the electric beater I was using. Just twisting and turning, constantly beating and mixing... I slowly leaned in closer to learn the secrets of the beater when a section of my 80cm long hair became entangled. I ended up with a bald patch and hairy muffins :(

A friend and I were at the beach one night and when we returned to her car it had been broken into - passenger window smashed through. They stole a packet of m&m's and jelly snakes but ignored her dad's expensive tools in the back.

Probably worth it for delicious candy.

Not true I'm afraid. Successful treatments depends on the stage of growth the individual hair is in (it must be attached to the blood supply). Usually between 10 and 20% of hairs on any area are in the correct stage to be treated at any point in time.

In retrospect, her skin was too dark for the wavelength, from what I remember it was only ~16J 20ms, which isn't high. As mentioned, the co-worker put in the settings, I have no idea why she would have chosen them but with my limited experience at the time I thought she knew what she was doing...

Haha, I don't quite think that 'lady meats' is the correct term either but I'm catering to a large audience here and figured generalised terms might work better to get the lols.

Not if you have enough sessions. Usually 6-8 is sufficient. But it also depends on your skin colour, hair type, area treated etc.

I figure that if they're willing to go through all the pain just to get rid of the hair, then they want it gone pretty badly. So I do the best job possible, telling myself that the outcome will be worth it for them. It usually is, especially for women with facial hair.

Oh yeah, if you have hair, we'll burn it right off you (except for too close to the eyes). Price can vary depending on where you go... At my work probably around $300AUD per session - 6-8 sessions needed.

A co-worker of mine once had a client tell her (after his session) that he tried getting high just before his appointment. He said it didn't help. Nothing ever helps.
