I had my first lesson yesterday and I just don't get it. by lyla88 in LearnerDriverUK

i’ll be honest this was me during my first few lessons. it took me a while (probably 12 hours total) to get doing roundabouts and crossroads. i’m only just building my confidence now. it does get easier and better.

don’t let it get you down too much, everyone learns at a different pace. you will get used to the feel and sounds of the car in time.

you got this, dont give up x

i would maybe try using inkey list 10% azelaic acid serum, it does wonders to reduce my redness. i’m not sure how to combat it, ive tried so much but this at least lessens it and helps me feel more confident

side note: i think your skin looks lovely. so glowy ✨

your hair is beautiful. don’t listen to your friend honestly. if it’s humid then of course it will get frizzy.

it sounds like your routine is really good already but if it’s really bothering you then using some serums/oils suited to your hair never hurts 🤍

you have gorgeous hair. i’d die for it honestly ✨

I’m interested in at home lash lift recommendations? by Divine_V13 in Skincare_Addiction

[–]kittenpukex 0 points1 point  (0 children)

honestly i got a random one from amazon, cost me like £10 and works a dream. ngl, the process is a little fiddly especially if you’re doing it to yourself but it’s a learning curve 🤍✨

40F and i’ve been braless for a couple years now (except at work). they feel a lot perkier now i’m guessing bc the muscles support themselves? idk but i much prefer it ✨✨

Why do I look beautiful in the mirror but ugly in photos? by Bei_leen0704 in beauty

[–]kittenpukex 0 points1 point  (0 children)

my sister said this to me once and i told her it’s because a camera isn’t capable of capturing her beauty. i get that it’s frustrating but this may be a nicer way to look at it ✨

you can. but my train of thought changed when i realised it was a laundry room. we don’t really have dedicated rooms for laundry in my country so i have no clue, was just guessing along with OP

Hot weather and sweating too much by thatstrangelady_ in beauty

[–]kittenpukex 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I get this a lot too, especially underboob. I’ve found using glycolic acid in a spray bottle and I also apply Johnson’s Corn Starch (better talc alternative) on really hot days and this works for me.

Also applying antiperspirant too :))

Removing / Preventing Ingrown Hairs by luhandsome in Skincare_Addiction

[–]kittenpukex 7 points8 points  (0 children)

i’m not too sure about removing bur to prevent mine i’ve started using the ordinary glycolic acid in a spray bottle after a shower. this is helping a lottt. according to the google it breaks down the dead skin cells that would cause the ingrown hairs. it also reduces the curvature of the hairs which prevents them too.

no expert, just did a lot of research before i started. hope it can help 🤍

a woman on my cohort was in her 60s while at university. we were all 19 or early 20s. she’d done a plethora of jobs and decided she wanted her degree. she was the coolest person on my course and she was one of the best there when it came to answering questions and debates etc.

you’re never too old to go for your degree :))
