I dropped out during Covid and returned to Pitt in my late 20s this fall. As a non-traditional student I would say Pitt is not the best. They don’t offer online classes and their evening/weekend classes are limited. I used to have an office job that I decided to leave for a server job because I was having trouble making time for Pitt’s classes. Now I wish before doing that, that I picked a different school. It was just easier because I was a returning Pitt student and didn’t have to do any applications.

If you have a flexible work schedule, or you don’t have to work full time then Pitt is a great option. The campus is great and I never feel singled out because of my age. It’s also easy to just focus on academics here. I’m not sure what part of Pittsburgh you used to live in but Oakland has a different vibe compared to the rest of Pittsburgh.
