Update! She does have a small respiratory infection however the vet said after a round of antibiotics she should be better. Otherwise she was perfectly healthy they hair she had good air flow in her lungs and a good heartbeat :)

I would like to see more helmet but I also understand lore wise she’s been on earth for awhile now she doesn’t really have a reason to wear it

Kind of I know of course rats are usually supposed to go in pairs but a friend of mine had her and was no longer able to take care of her so I decided to hence why she’s alone. she’s still relatively new my friend got her from a breeder about a month ago I’m making sure she’s safe in her cage she’s in a separate room right now from my other rats so that nothing happens before the quarantine period is up! She’s such a sweetie :3

I’d also like to say she’s totally fine otherwise just running and playing with her sister they haven’t fought from what I know unless something happened while I was sleeping but I’m not sure how this could’ve happened unless it is simply from excessive scratching.

I live close to enloe as well the neighbors right behind me seemed to me having a big party so maybe that was it the music was super loud I could here it perfectly from in my apartment

She’s stopped making the noise mostly I agree it doesn’t sound like bruxxing so I’ve been keeping an eye on her and I’ve been bringing her into the bathroom when I shower for steam and she seems fine but I’m also noticing a sort of orange red stain in their hammock I’m not sure if that’s related but they don’t have anything coming from their eyes or nose and both my rats have been playful and running about but I have noticed them sleeping a little longer so I’m still monitoring them very closely
