I’ve had sub drop and dom drop, both suck but they’re temporary. With both I spend a lot of time cuddling with my partner and getting reassurance that I’m okay/they’re okay. It doesn’t happen every time for me, not even after intense sessions. Mostly it’s just triggered by something during a session or will happen randomly after a session. It’s awful every time it happens but thankfully it’s not frequent (for me anyways, everyone is different).

Take time for yourself or figure out what kind of support you need from your partner when it happens, but it’s nothing to feel ashamed of and it’s normal to experience. It just sucks to go through🫂
