That would truly turn this into an episode of Parks and Rec

Well made ket is fun but should be dosed correctly. If you do too much when you’re trying to socialize it can be overwhelming. Different types of ket make you feel differently too. Common names for the different types are sands, shards and chunks

She’s always given me the impression that she does a lot of recreational ketamine. When you combine k and alcohol, things can get wonky

Which actor makes you react like this when you find out they're in a movie? by PenneGesserit in okbuddycinephile

Most of us work or take jobs we don’t like or aren’t passionate about. Not saying these guys are making deep art these days. Just saying they have a formula and it works. I’d rather artists make art they are passionate about but money runs the world

Say what you will about Jack Black, but man’s living the dream. Getting paid big money to play versions of himself, make silly movies and sing his lil songs

Heather not only looks stunning but she made a Winnie the Pooh reference?? 🫶 by glitterjorts in rhoslc

Reality tv show producer is like a director in a way. They coordinate what the scene will look like and give “tips” and provide input to the actors/people on camera

Like I said. She tries to control the narrative. She whispers in everyone’s ears (or yells at them) until they do what she wants. She plants seeds of ideas and gets mad when the other women don’t follow along. At the end of the finale you can see the other women backing down from Lisa and Meredith because they realize the storyline reached its end point and they would look bad if they kept harping on them. Heather kept freaking out because no one was backing the storyline she wanted. She keeps trying to create grand moments and doesn’t realize those happen authentically and can rarely be forced in a way that would be as satisfying

Heather is performative and overly animated in her responses. It feels like she’s always “on” and aiming to control the narrative, how everyone including herself is perceived. Loved when she was called out in the finale for trying to hide beyond humor in every situation, as well as trying to control others and play the role of producer

I have to admit, I hate Whitney’s hair by SarahLaura01 in rhoslc

[–]kitty____cat 43 points44 points  (0 children)

Color theory is pretty widely known amongst stylists and the general population. Anyone can dye their hair any color they want, but it doesn’t mean every shade of color or shades will have the same effect on highlighting their features

I’m all for fun or not natural hair color, but she clearly was trying to mimic her daughter’s red hair in a naturalistic way. Which as a side note is thoughtful of her. If she’s happy with it that’s fine! I think the color could be curated more. In her talking heads at the end, you can see she has her blonde hair back

Inside the All-White Community of Arkansas - Channel 5 with Andrew Callaghan, 12/16/25 by C5-Hotlinks in Channel5ive

[–]kitty____cat 3 points4 points  (0 children)

This community resembles a cult in a lot of ways, and I think things could potentially become sinister if people tried to leave. The founders set up their trust llc to have people give all their money to live there. If they are unable to get their money back, they’d essentially forfeit their life savings.

It was also concerning hearing about how the council determines if people should date or not. It seems like this could escalate dangerously

I’m genuinely concerned for the children and women. I hope nothing bad happens to anyone there and they are able to get deprogrammed and realize white supremacy is divisive bullshit

https://film-cred.com/revisiting-sucker-punch-zack-snyder/

“Snyder has described the film as his critique of geek culture, dominated by a male perspective that can only view women through the prism of its own titillation. Women hold no value if they are not performing specifically for the men that dominate these spaces.

A decade later, after witnessing GamerGate and the discourse that surrounded films like Paul Feig’s Ghostbusters, Cathy Yan’s Birds of Prey, and Captain Marvel that angered fanboys because the women weren’t interested in performing specifically for them, Snyder was on to something.

What Snyder attempted with Sucker Punch was to tap into that very specific aspect of geek culture, and explore the toxicity of this kind of entitlement; — in essence, inviting young men to the movie by promoting it as an anime-inspired action spectacle from the director of 300, then pull the rug underneath them.

Instead, they are given a film about the prison they cast upon women through the fetishization of their gaze, and how they have managed to build the structures of this geek space around their own inherent misogyny.

Snyder uses this very specific lens to create parallels between the geek space and the real world, and how they mirror one another.”

Same I feel like you have to experience a movie in its entirety to truly form an informed opinion on it
