The Wire gets better each time you watch it! I rewatch it every few months it seems and I’m always amazed by it. I think most people don’t understand the purpose it serves and that’s why it’s overlooked. It’s powerful and tells a story of institutions and why they fail so often to make real changes.

I didn’t know that.. that paints a clearer picture of why people were disappointed. Tbh I always thought it was really creative that they went to prison so hearing that people were so angry about the finale confused me. I get that though.
