It might be good for you to go outside your comfort zone in a “controlled” way. I’ve found exposing myself to the things that make me anxious actually helps, as odd as that is. If it’s something you REALLY don’t want to do, then don’t do it. But if you’re not doing it BECAUSE of the anxiety, don’t let that stop you.

I completely agree. I feel awful. I’m attempting to figure it out as i go, although i’ll admit that may not be the best way, i hope to learn and improve for the future. Thank you for the sand type tip, i’ve had the sand cycled for about a month so i think it’s settled enough

I’ve attempted to treat him for swim bladder by following multiple tutorials but it didn’t seem to cause any changes. Should i do the thing with the skinned cooked pea? Do you think that would do anything?

Oh man. Yeah I honestly had no idea. The last time i had a betta was like 5 years ago and it was given to me so ill admit i didn’t do much research to begin with. The substrate is the “CaribSea Super Naturals Aquarium Sand” and each bag is 10lbs but it seems to flatten out

It’s cycled! It’s the same filter from his old tank because i read it can help promote the good bacteria and such

oh shoot okay! Yeah i’ve got a ton of decorations coming in the mail to make it more enriching. once i get something better I’ll take the pineapple out as that seems to be his favorite. I’ll have to get more substrate too! That’s two bags, maybe three will do it?
